Located in Sere Kunda NDing, a 11-minute walk from Kotu Beach, Sunset Beach Hotel has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. The staff here is wonderful. They are all very kind - the bar and restaurant, room housekeeping attendants (specifically Alex), Arrison the gardener, and front desk (Riquita). Everyone was very helpful and always asking how my day ways and making sure I was enjoying Gambia. The accomodations are great value. Very good breakfast, clean rooms and facilites, great location, and beautiful pool with beach views. The rooms are very spacious and pretty and the house keeping attendants do a great job cleaning every day. My room attendant, Alex, made beautiful flower designs each day and was very friendly and polite. If i was in the room working he was very mindful and did not disturb me. Wifi was not bad. About 10 Mbps by the pool but I wouldn't rely on it for seamless service. Video calls weren't always perfect but I had no issue getting an africell sim card and connecting my phone to my laptop for video calls. I was able ti work and there were many others working remotely from the hotel besides me. Conveniently located in a central part of Gambia and although the prices are a bit high the taxis and bicycles are right outside the hotel for convenience. At one point I did forget my watch on my pool chair and the pool attendant came to deliver it to me in my room, very kind.

Remarkable 4-Bed with air conditioning in Brikama is located in Brikama, just 10 miles from Abuko Nature Reserve and 14 miles from Bijolo Forest Reserve. This compound had everything I could possibly want. Four bedrooms, 3 with en-suite the other the bathroom/shower next to it. Solar power, seating area front and back, easy to top water tank up so constant water. Cooker hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. TV in every room, local shops and markets in walking distance. For me I could have happily moved in .... Will definitely stay there again, my go to place in The Gambia. Stayed there with Family. 100% loved it.... Night security guy on premises too, felt totally safe.
