Featuring a garden and a terrace, The Old Borough Hotel - Wetherspoon is located in Swords, a 10-minute drive from Dublin Airport and a 1-minute walk from Swords Castle. Check in was fast and easy and the young lady who attended to me was great, ordered us a taxi for the morning, opened the side gates so we could bring our luggage in (and use the lift due to my bad knee) Security guy helped me with the bags. Room comfortable and clean. The cost of drinks and food in the bar was out of this world - we had been in Ireland for a week and these were the cheapest by far! All staff were friendly and helpful, and our early 5.30am check out was painless as well.

Kettle's Country House Hotel is located outside the town of Swords, just 6.2 mi away from Dublin Airport and 14 mi away from Dublin City Center. Free parking is available. It was very convenient having a restaurant in the hotel.

It has luxurious rooms, free internet and good bus service to the center of the city. the friendliness of all the staff. always going over and beyond to make it happen for the customer. the beds were so comfortable.

The Clayton Hotel offers a free 24-hour shuttle to and from Dublin Airport, which is 10 minutes away and is located just off the interchange between the M1 and M50 motorways. This was a lovely hotel very close to the airport. Our flights in and out of Dublin were late and early morning so we couched our first and last nights in this hotel, utilizing the shuttle service. The shuttle drivers were very kind, and twice stopped for us when they were taking off and saw we were coming. The breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were friendly. The rooms were nice and clean with comfortable family rooms. It wasn’t cheap but we didn’t see anything cheaper.

Tucked away in a quiet corner of ‘The Velvet Strand’, one of Ireland’s most stunning stretches of uninterrupted coastline - the historic Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links, once the family home... Really enjoyed staying here. And had a game of golf which was great. Very friendly place.
