This family-run boutique hotel has the nicest, most caring staff you will ever experience. They bend over backwards to make you feel comfortable and at home, and they will do so with a friendly smile. The location is right in the city center on a main street, but we didn't hear any of the street noise, which was a great benefit. You can comfortably walk to the historical / tourist area within 7 minutes. There you can explore all that Madaba has to offer. Our stay was on a rainy and cold night, and the heating system in the room worked perfectly, so that we had a very nice and toasty experience staying there. The hotel fills your fridge with free drinks and also supplies you with free nuts and snacks. It is a very nice gesture that was much appreciated. The breakfast is phenomenal. There is an amazing choice and everything was freshly made, clean and extremely tasty. The staff was extremely friendly and made sure that we got everything that we needed.

Great place to get some sleep and freshen up. We had an early arrival 2 am flight. It’s an affordable option to go get a little sleep and to shower. We checked in around 4 am with no issues and we were able to check out late at noon. There was free breakfast but we decided to sleep instead. Bathroom facilities were good! Plenty of free street parking out front. After checkout we walked to some of the main sites and grabbed lunch ( about 10 minutes). Staff was all wonderful too!

The Mosaic City Hotel is a small and friendly hotel in the heart of Madaba, within easy walking distance of the Church of St George and the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land. The best hotel during our stay in Jordan. Although located in the main street we got a very quiet room located in the back. Parking available, The place is very clean, staff is friendly. Nothing to complain about.

Located in Madaba, a 11-minute walk from The Greek Orthodox Basilica of Saint George, Mariam Hotel provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a shared lounge and a... conveniently located, walking distance to downtown area, many cafes, shops (Madaba mall is about a five minute walk) and St George’s (Church of the Map). Property well maintained, nice swimming pool, and restaurant offers a very reasonable evening dinner (our first night we had chicken tagine for 8.50jd, generous portions, they also serve beer and wine). Our room had a very comfortable bed and extra pillows, clean bathroom and a small balcony. Staff was very welcoming and helpful when we needed to get some laundry taken care of. A breakfast buffet, served at their rooftop terrace with wonderful views of the city, many options (eggs, sausage, beans, hummus, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, several kinds of bread, jams, pancakes, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice - we stayed three days and we could always put together different dishes and not feel like we were eating the same thing) On our second day we enjoyed lunch at Ayola Cafe which had been recommended by another guest on a previous review on booking. It was a good hotel to be based out of to visit mount Nebo, Ma’in hot springs and other places around the area

The Grand Hotel Madaba is an elegant hotel in the heart of Madaba, within easy walking distance from the Church of Apostles and 2 minutes' drive to the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land and the ST. The property was very central, it was very clean, rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and very accommodating

Located 66 feet from the St. George Church in Madaba, this renovated hotel features air-conditioned rooms. There is a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful

The Salome is a 2-star hotel in the historical city of Madaba. This hotel offers spacious guest rooms, friendly service and free Wi-Fi, all in close proximity to the center and the famous mosaic map... What a charming hotel, family-owned and so welcoming! I wish we could have stayed longer if it weren't for the airlines throwing a wrench in our itinerary. You can thank Air France for that. Salome Hotel is in the midst of building a pool which will be ready in a month! I highly recommend this hotel for couples.
