Set in Tsavo West National Park, Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge features a swimming pool, stunning views of the Chyulu Hills and overlooks its own waterhole visited daily by elephants, buffaloes and a... Really lovely, peaceful grounds with excellent (but unobtrusive) staff. Our game driver was excellent and the buffet meals were all exceptionally tasty (including the Kenyan coffee on offer…the best we have even at more expensive safari camps/lodges). The watering hole is a highlight and the grounds are beautiful.

The self-catering Bandas at Severin Lodge are wonderful. The Banda that we slept in was very clean and fully equipped with everything that you can need. Each Banda has a lovely front porch facing out of the property and a fire pit as well. During the night we heard a roaming lion, allowing for us to be close to nature while remaining safe and comfortable.

Boasting a garden, Lake Jipe Eco Lodge is set in Tsavo West National Park and also provides a shared lounge and a bar. Voi Railway Station is a 2 hour property from the property. The staff is so friendly and some of them joined us at the bonfire in the evenings, getting to know each other. The cool makes the most delicious meals and the rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the shower nice and hot. We highly recommend this place.

With river views, Maneaters is located in Tsavo and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. We loved this place and would definitely come back! the staff was super helpful, and Beatrice and Simon made sure, we had everything we needed. the security guard Johnston gave us a tour of the place, which was great. the “tent” was big and well equipped and the view from there and the main pool area was outstanding.

The location is spectacular! we took a train from Mombasa to VOI station and then were picked up by Taita Hills driver. The food was so amazing ( 3 meals per day, included to price). Veggies and fruits are grown at Taita Hills farm abd served to customers fresh and super yummy! The safari trip ( not include to hotel stay) was incredible! We saw tremendous number of animals! Must visit place, 100 percent!!!

What can we say to praise Ashnil Aruba sufficiently! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, our tent was immaculately clean, cool and comfortable with excellent bathroom and storage, a comfortable bed and a view beyond all expectations. The full board option was far beyond what we had expected for the price, so many delicious options to choose from for each meal. The location and site in the heart of Tsavo East are indescribable, the views are wonderful and the pool is a lovely surprise addition - we even watched elephants, zebra and gazelle while we were in the pool! The staff at the lodge are such a delight, every single member of the team was so kind and friendly as well as being very professional. Their service and dedication really made us feel welcome and well looked after for the whole of our stay. Thank you so much for the perfect safari stay, we loved every minute.
