The property is really clean, even for European standards. It’s one of the cleanest we’ve seen in Sri Lanka. The owner is a really nice and welcoming guy. Oh, and the kitchen is amazing! A great place even for a long-term stay.

The place was very neat and clean. We stayed a room near pool area and it was a bit noisy due to the crowded pool on the weekend. Room and bathroom is big and clean, equipped with kettle and tea/coffee. The hotel has an inhouse bar with local and foreign liquor therefore, you can order beer, wine on a reasonable rate. Note that there is no minibar in the room. Ice is available on request from the bar. Hotel has its own generator and you don’t have to worry about power cuts. Specially I have to mention the excellent service of the hotel manager who is very kind and concerned about the customer satisfaction.

Located in Kalutara, Karl Holiday Bungalow offers peaceful and homely accommodations with free WiFi access throughout the property. The host Dil an incredible person! He makes everybody feel comfortable as at home, it was very nice experience to stay at this place! The swimming pool was nice addition to our stay, plus the food was incredible! Definitely recommend!
