Moksha at Kitulgala - Rainforest Boutique Hotel features free WiFi throughout the property and views of pool in Kitulgala. Probably one of the best places i have ever been in my life. And I have traveled a lot. We stayed for 3 nights. From the beginning we felt very welcomed, the staff is truly amazing going the extra mile every single time. The owner of the hotel arranged for us all the visits and trips. The chef is doing an amazing job with the food, everything was delicious! The waiter was always taking care of us and very friendly. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The hotel is surrounded with beautiful nature, the pool is perfect, rooms are clean and cozy, we couldn't ask for more. It was a 10/10 from start to finish. We will definitely come back to what we consider our Sri Lanka home. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thank you all for treating us so well, we will never forget these beautiful memories. See you soon! ❤️

Old Bridge Riverside Hotel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and water sports facilities in Kitulgala. A new hotel, runned by a family who is very helpfull. Rooms are good and there is a shared balcony with splendid views, You can walk freely around Bibili Oya, the river next to the hotel . Food is at average level.

Situated in Pinnawala, 32 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, The Grand Walawwa features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The restoration of the century old property was done exceptionally well, from the intricate tile floors, to the custom wood work, and the perfectly mannered gardens, it’s an oasis of beauty.

Situated in Kegalle, 32 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, Rosyth Estate House features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. We had a brilliant 3 days at Roysth Estate! It was the last leg on our 2 week trip with out 18 month old around Sri Lanka and certainly the highlight! So many thoughtful details such as a baby monitor set up in our room and placing us close to the action so we could allow Arthur to nap whilst we were by the pool! The food was insanely good and the tea factory tour was fascinating! The staff were all so accommodating and delightful with out son. He was so well looked after and became a huge fan of hoppers and roti! Neil and Farzana were fabulous hosts and made you feel at home instantly- when we arrived it felt more like arriving to a family party than a hotel! The rooms were lovely and the whole hotel has been decorated in such a thoughtful and tasteful manner. The spa was also brilliant- the complimentary foot massage on arrival was very welcome after a long drive! Would highly recommend to anyone, especially as its only just over 2 hours from the airport so makes an ideal place to get over jetlag or top off a trip!

Located right opposite Ma-Oya River, guests at Hotel Elephant Park "Grand Royal Pinnalanda" can watch elephants from their rooms. It has a restaurant and offers room service. We took room with the river side view and it is amazing! Staff very nice!!! Definitely recommend to stay and enjoy elephant bathing times! At 14:00 there are less crowds then at 10:00, but you have to see both times! Most crowds gone after 30min, but elephants swims in river about 1,5h.

Big Bed in a very komfortable Room, with a big very clean Bathroom. Only 100 Meters of the Elephant Bathing River away. The Elephant are walking sometimes unter my Balcony. There is although a big balcony for all guest available..

Located in Pinnawala, Cafe Pinnalanda features an outdoor swimming pool located at a 100 metre distance away. The staff greeted us at our tuk tuk and took care of our bags. Our room was nice and clean. There's a mini bar, for a fee, and a store right below. It's directly across the street from the elephant orphanage. In the morning, around 10:00, you can watch a herd of elephant cross the street. Quite a site

Pinnalanda Hotel offers free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property. Surrounded by lush greenery, the hotel is a 1-hour drive from the Kandy. We had an amazing stay in Hotel Pinnalanda. The view is breathtaking! Breakfast was really good and the staff was so lovely and friendly. Especially Andrew (that’s how we called him) from the tour desk was such a lovely helpful guy! Thank you Andrew, you did a great job! But all the staff was amazing and made our holiday!! I can really recommend to also use the pool when the elephants are out, that was amazing!

Set in Deraniyagala, 45 km from Leisure World, Forest Shade Eco Resort offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. My partner and I stayed at Forest Shade Eco Resort earlier this month and we had a wonderful experience. We came cycling from Colombo and unfortunately had a small accident on the way. We called the hotel and they arranged a vehicle that picked us up straight from the hospital, everything went super smoothly and it was absolutely sweet how everyone was so concerned about us (we are fine now). This place is definetely the right spot when you need to recover from a bicycle accident or life in gereral. Our room and the attached balcony overlooked the river and we had a fantastic view! The food was lovely as well, we got the Sri Lankan option for dinner and breakfast and loved it. This place is a 100 percent recommendation and we will definetely come again on our bikes to explore the beautiful area a bit more.

Featuring a garden and water sports facilities, White Villa Kitulgala is set in Kitulgala. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also welcomes guests with a restaurant, a water park and a terrace. We have had the best stay at White Villa! Rangi and her mother made us feel so welcome. We have never experienced such hospitality - they really went out of their way to make our stay special. Rangi spoke perfect English, gave us tips about the local area and even helped us move onto Nuwara Eliya, speaking on the phone to the bus driver! Our rafting guides picked us up and dropped us off, so it’s very close to the local attractions. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner cooked by her mother which was amazing! They brought dinner down to our room, which we ate at the table outside listening to the sounds of the Forest. It was incredible! As for the room, comfortable bed, hot shower and balcony overlooking the beautiful forest. There is a stream just a minute walk away where you can swim.
