Hosts are so lovely and clearly like speaking with travellers. Very relaxed vibes. Really enjoyed driving there and back. Loved the sunrise.

A recently renovated campground, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya offers accommodation in Bidiyah. This campground offers air-conditioned accommodations with a terrace. Great location at the foot of a big dune, while still being reachable by a normal car (no 4x4 needed). Beautiful setup with tents and little houses, very clean and spacious. The staff is amazing, would do anything for you. The food is fine, and there is enough for everyone. I liked the open roof shower, especially at night as you could see the moon and stars! The camp is more affordable in comparison with other camps in the area, but the activities have crazy prices. We ended up not booking a any acricitiy at the camp, but enjoyed the stars after the lights go off and woke up early to walk up the dune. Took us about 15min to walk all the way up for sunrise.

I must highly recommend Moon Light Camp for everyone who is looking for the real desert experience in Oman! The tent is beyond my imagination. It was very clean, tidy, especially the bed is very cozy! We booked the dinner and breakfast as well. Trust me those are super valuable! There's a solar USB charger inside the tend so don't worry about the power. We enjoyed the sunset, sunrise. Don't miss the night starry sky! That will be one of the most memorable experience in your life!

I spent alot of time researching the desert camp options and chose Rashid's because it ticked all the boxes for us...small camp - only 4 tents for a more intimate experience, reasonable prices for everything, elevated tents so not on the ground with creepy crawlers, private bath inside, comfy beds, good food, good reviews of the owner host for a welcoming and enlightening experience. The stay exceeded all of my, already high, expectations. also, some camps are just barely in the desert and some are many miles in, this was a lovely distance in. Rashid made us feel like honored guests and family. He wants his guests to feel at home and was open to all questions about his homeland and culture. He taught us so much and also loved to hear and learn about our homeland and lives. The food was incredible as well. We went dune bashing to collect some of the plastic I was so sad to see in the desert by my request. He took us to see camels and there were new babies. Whoever you choose to stay with please honor the desert and collect your garbage. But don't miss the opportunity to stay with rashid! We arrived as strangers and left as honored friends!

SandGlass Camp in Bidiyah provides accommodations with barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. I didn’t see like this camp because it has very beautiful place on the other hand the people are very friendly and helping mind people i got lot of experience in here so if you plan to go any camp in wahiba sands I recommend this place for reason it has booking price is cheap and worth

The camp is located not too close from the nearest village, offering an immersive desert experience. The tents are spacious, clean and nicely decorated and so is the dining area. The staff is helpful, kind and efficient and agreeing pick up was really easy. The buffet was generous with a good and tasty selection of food. The camp offers activities like camel riding and dune safari. We enjoyed both very much. The greatest plus of this camp is that, compared to other structures who might have more of a hotel feel, gives the travellers a authentic and close to nature experience. We would go back and we will recommend it to family and friends.
