The historic Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden is located in the Stockholm Archipelago, a 20-minute drive from Stockholm city center. The hotel was beautiful and the ambience , the staff where really friendly and helped with anything with a beautiful smile , loved the spa treatment and loved the restaurant , again the staff where really nice.

Skärgårdshotellet offers views of the Baltic Sea and the Stockholm archipelago, and is located less than 3 minutes’ drive from the Gotland ferry service. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi and parking. The Skargardshotellet was the perfect hotel for our trip to Nynashamn. the facility was clean, the staff very friendly and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and offered many food items. The location is across the street from the Gotland Ferry which was convenient as we took the ferry the next day to Visby.

Hotell Furusund features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Furusund. With a bar, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. This is the second time we come to the Furusund hotel and we are looking forward to coming back again. We have always done a lot of trips in almost all other European countries and we find that in Sweden, outside Stockholm, finding hotel choices of high standard is sadly very hard, they tend to be extremely overpriced, come linked with "experiences" that are mostly about drinking in well-decorated bar areas or sharing a spa with people who are drinking (drinking alcohol in the spa seems to be a highly valued activity) and we usually regret going. This is not the case here. This place is simple and beautiful. Elegant but no frills. Has everything you need (including a spa area if you are so inclined) in the nicest location. It is clean, the wifi works well, and it is overall a very relaxing experience. The best part is the food. Best breakfast ever, really pleasant. Last time we had dinner also (this time we were busy somewhere else) and I still remember it.

Siggesta Gård is located in the countryside of Värmdö and offers a sun terrace, parking, bookable sauna and hot tub. WiFi are free for guests. wonderful staff and fun games/activities for all ages!

Set by a fortress from 1735, this waterfront hotel on Värmdö Island offers impressive views of Solöfjärden and the surrounding archipelago. Amazing location overlooking the shipping straight between Värmdö and Rindo. Lovely helpful staff.

This early 1900s property is in Nynäshamn, on Trehörningen Island. It offers spa treatments, panoramic sea views and fine dining. Stockholm city center is just 45 minutes’ drive away. The location of this hotel is just amazing, the facilities were excellent and relaxing in the spa was just what we needed after a long drive! We really enjoyed the location as it was lovely to walk along the waterfront and around the neighborhood and the rooms exceeded my expectations. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Set in Stockholm’s beautiful archipelago, first-class hotel and conference center Fågelbrohus offers a historic setting in Värmdölandet, just a 35 minute drive from the center of Stockholm. The landscapes, the views of nature and open space, the food was absolutely magical, the service staff were all kind and professional and the room was spacious, clean and cozy. They upgraded us for free because we were celebrating our anniversary.

This countryside hotel is on Värmdö Island, 25 minutes’ drive from Stockholm city center. Guests can enjoy fine dining, free Wi-Fi and free private parking. The location is beautiful. Quiet, peaceful. Kayaks and swimming right there. Staff is amazing. Breakfast spread is wonderful. Restaurant for dinner has amazing dishes. There are hiking trails across the road. You can take the bus to town if you want to explore or go to a different restaurant.
