The rooftop pool and restaurant have an amazing view. Very tranquil and relaxed atmosphere. The bathroom in the rooms are fantastic! The shower head, the amazing loofah and shower gel, and the comfy robe. Loved it all.

Dar El Kif - La Marsa is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in La Marsa where guests can make the most of its barbecue facilities and shared lounge. This place is a gem. The staff are wonderful and very welcoming. I was even late for breakfast by half an hour one day and the owner offered to make me some food with a smile on his face. Apart from the welcoming vibe, the place feels like a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle of La Marsa that awaits when you step outside of the premises. I was most taken back by the open plan kitchen/lounge area where breakfast is served which feels Tunisian with a bit of a modern twist. A really thought out interior where you can feel the attention to detail. Anyway I could carry on for a while but I loved this place. The people and the simple and tasty breakfasts make it all the worth while. Local shops are also very close by if you need to get cash, a phone card or grab a bite, nearest beach is a 5/10 minute walk. Thank you Dar El Kif, wish you all the best!

Our experience was so positive that we decided to cancel our reservation at Sousse and rebook our last night in Tunisia with The 18. Our hosts were extremely helpful and on both stays we had great conversations with them. The accommodations are cozy and comfortable but more importantly ever so convenient to the airport. This is the perfect location for anyone who is departing from Tunis airport in the morning, whether you have a rental car (as we did) or not.

Dar Souad is owned and ran by a mother and her two daughters, and they absolutely built the most beautiful boutique hotel we have ever stayed at. The beds were comfy, the bathroom came with a towel heater, and the breakfast each morning was specially crafted. The location is a short walk from La Marsa and short tram from Carthage, and we loved sitting by the pool playing cards. Absolutely 11/10 experience and wouldn’t change a thing

Theres so much artwork and artifacts scattered on all floors that ties in Tunisian history and culture with fantastic architectural feature that makes this such a unique stay. the rooftop views are amazing and relaxing by the small pool was great. the owner was very friendly and informative and it felt like he brought us into his family.

The neighbourhood "La Marsa" has restaurants, the and coffee places, vibrant nightlife, supermarkets, and is very cool and young. Everything was better than expected and I truly recommend it 100% : )

The Dar el Marsa is a three-story hotel in a great location on the very beach front of La Marsa. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel, a modern look in the comfortable rooms and great beds. The spa services were excellent as well as the large 'relaxation space' open to guests. Rooftop restaurant / bar comes highly recommended and has one of the best views in the area.

15 min walk to the la marsa beach, bars and restaurants, the local area is safe and plenty of cheap restaurants and groceries close by And the house not on the main street so its quiet, 10 min by taxi to sidi bosaid& carthage and 20 min to the airport & medina the house is big, clean and all facilities are there and communication with the host was excellent Very economic price
