Food was awesome. Wish there were a few more options, but everything was delicious. Ski valet was so nice!! Spa was really, really good! Amazing experience overall!

Red River Ski & Summer Area is 1640 feet away. perfect location any time of the year. Loved the efficiency apartment vibe it had and easy to walk from room to anywhere in town. This is right next to the lifts (we didn't ski this trip) so there's that too! Great for families!

High Five Ski Elevator 5 is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel.... The AVS is what we all imagine a ski village lodge to look and feel like. Funky logistics to get around, but total alpine feel. Room was perfect for me and my kid. Bed was very comfortable with 4 pillows, kid stayed in the loft/mezzanine accessible by ladder - her "crib". Nice bathroom. Heater worked fine. Full mini-kitchen so we made b-fast every morning. Very clean, comfortable. Fantastic location right next to Lift 1 (main base) - we skied 4-5 hours a day. Walking distance to all restaurants. Friendly staff. And, before I forget, a wonderful jacuzzi (fits 7) and sauna that I used every night to sooth my knees.

Each air-conditioned room offers a seating area, a flat-screen TV and an private bathroom at Taos Valley Lodge. A small refrigerator and coffee-making facilities are also included. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even mailed us an item that we left behind, to our address in France, on their expense.

Downstairs King room unavailable when I checked in so they upgraded me to Downstairs King suite. Really nice. This property is special and is located with easy access to all the restaurants in Taos.

A 5-minute drive from Harwood Museum of Art and Kit Carson Park, El Monte Sagrado Resort & Spa offers an on-site spa and 2 restaurants. An indoor pool and fitness center are available. We got a massage at the spa and it was great. The restaurant was really good but I think most people would probably enjoy getting local NM food
