The manager, Nam, was over and above helpful, very informative, and did everything to make the stay enjoyable and the food great (thanks to the cooks and helpers). Meals served in an open garden and comfortable covered outside lounge areas with Wifi access. Even got to meet Mr. Linh himself, a gregarious and very friendly individual. The bungalow type accommodation is great for backpackers and those on a lower budget, clean with shared bath, but basic. For a little extra I'd go for the the rooms with ensuite. They are very comfortable. If you're keen, kayaks are free to use for an hour or so and I'd recommend a paddle around. Overall a great place to spend a few days in the Ba Be National Park area right on the lake.

The staff was fantastic, excellent conversations. Even gave us a traditional rice cake when leaving.
