Incredibly nice owner (Antoné) who was very helpful in recommending and booking a restaurant. Great breakfast, large rooms in an amazing setting - highly recommended!

Reinet, Brad and the two dogs Savannah and Rusty are amazing hosts and we will definitely stay again with them when we will come to Swellendam!

Bergview Guesthouse Swellendam in Swellendam provides adults-only accommodations with pool with a view, a garden, and a bar. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Quiet, spacious and very well decorated room. It exceeded our expectations because the photos of the room are not too representative. Breakfast was really good and the owner, Lidia, is very friendly and helpful.

Providing a garden, The Upper Deck Apartment offers accommodations in Swellendam. The air-conditioned accommodation is a 11-minute walk from Drostdy Museum. We stopped in Swellendam on our way from the airport to the Garden Route, so the location was not a destination for us. The Upper Deck was welcoming, clean, and relaxing. We appreciated the spacious apartment, with much more to offer than we needed in terms of utensils and household items. The upper deck itself (outside the apartment) has cozy seating and would be something we would enjoy on a longer stay, but we did not spend enough time on this trip. We slept well, despite some slight occasional noise from the road. The breakfast was delicious, including hot items, and got us ready for the day.
