Fabulous location with beautiful views from hotel rooms. Restaurant food was very good. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Loved the private beach and the beach bar. Gorgeous cocktails. Staff were friendly, helpful and engaging. I'm booking again for next year as there's so much more I want to see and do in Guadeloupe and this hotel is a great base.

This is not usually the case - in the bathroom, the water flows instantly and there is also a strong enough stream of water. Quality cocktails, albeit unfortunately in plastic containers. It was a very short walk to the Fort Royal Resort, where we enjoyed a great evening at the outdoor bar watching the sunset. Breakfast at the Tropicana the following morning was very good.

Besides that, the location by the beach is great, the theme nights at the hotel were very fun, the breakfasts were very satisfying, and the cleaning services was excellent.

Being a fan of Death in Paradise it was great to recognise many of the locations used in the TV series both around the resort and in the nearby Perle Beach, plus Deshaies was only a short drive away. Our room was very spacious, clean with all the amenities needed. Wonderful views, great pool and very good location (but if you want to see a bit of Guadelupe I recommend to rent a car). Breakfasts were great, but nothing surpasses the owners hospitality. Very good restaurants near by - for creol experience Chez Ketty, for a bit of luxury Chez Ernest :)
