A wonderful stay at the seaside. The hotel is located on the beachfront, with its own sandy beach. The breackfast is generous with a wide diversity to choose from. The hotel is located some 20 minutes walking distance from the center of the Agios Nikolaos.

The service was top notch. Everyone was helpful and answered any requests we had. We had half board and though previous comments said that the food was not good, I beg to differ. The breakfast was ample with lots of buffet options (hot and cold) as well as the menu (you could order omelets, and other items off the menu). Frappes and Fredo espressos were not problem. The setting at breakfast was beautiful overlooking the pool and ocean. One of the previous comments said that there weren't any Greek offerings at dinner. Being Greek-American, I thought the inclusive dinner options did a great job with an overall selection to appeal to everyone as well as classic Greek and Cretan options. Obviously, if one truly wants a true Cretan dining experience, then I recommend eating off property, but we ate both nights we stayed at the resort, and we all greatly enjoyed. I've been to many all-inclusive hotels in Mexico and the Caribbean and the food and drinks at this establishment were the best we've had. The hotel manager was always present, making rounds ensuring people were enjoying their stay. In fact, our son celebrated his birthday one night and the hotel staff provided a dairy-free cake (he's allergic to dairy) for his bday complete with candles! Lastly, the resort is beautifully and tastefully decorated. I greatly enjoyed walking around, taking in all the sights. The designers did an exceptional job making it feel very Greek island-esque with every nook and cranny having artwork or decorations.

A localização do hotel era incrível, virado para uma baía e mar azul turquesa e dando a impressão de estar isolado sem outras casas e hotéis a volta. A praia de areia, sem pedras, com cadeiras sempre disponíveis e a atenção do staff para dar as toalhas e trazer o que pedirmos. A piscina que parece acabar no mar e a uma óptima temperatura. O quarto muito confortável e com uma boa dimensão com vista para a baía. Tivemos um upgrade para um quarto com piscina privada que soube muito bem! Os funcionários eram eficientes e sempre disponíveis, embora nem sempre simpaticos. Tivemos em regime de meia pensão e o jantar era óptimo, com várias opções diferentes e bem cozinhado. É um hotel bonito, com as zonas exteriores muito bem arranjadas de onde não apetece sair!

Beautiful resort, the rooms are big and good equipped. the stuff is very friendly. We liked the pool and a beach, that are clean and not crowd. Kids club is very nice. The breakfast is good and match for both parents and kids. We stayed with our 2 years daughter, and we spent amazing time in Candia.

All of the staff was super attentive to all of our needs. They arranged for taxi pick ups for us and gave our room special honey moon touches. The morning breakfast is simply put amazing. Great egg options, fresh fruit and pastries. Plus a beautiful view. The overall property is amazing. We want to go back already.

I have no words to describe how happy we were with our stay at Porto Elounda. The staff is absolutely amazing. Their dont go only an extra mile but a few if needed, to make you feel like you are valued. From cleaning staff to restaurant personal, to Kids Club, reception and hotel management, they really do the utmost in every perspective. Overall description: - The rooms are very clean, comfortable and with a private pool, no one can complain! - Breakfast is delicious as well and setting is beautiful, with gorgeous view; - Hotel facilities, lobby, pools, courts, path to the beach are spotless clean and well maintained; - The Kids Club deserves a special shout out as this was the first time our kids actually asked to go back the next day as they loved not only the water slides, but playing with Angelika and the time they spent with her. Special thanks Angelika!!! All in all, worth your money if you are looking for top service and superlative treatment.

Good buffet breakfast with an option to order entrees. Staff were stellar, extremely helpful and attentive. Big room with our own pool and a great view of the ocean. The spa was wonderful, a beautiful space with a salt water pool.
