Summer Island Maldives Resort
North Male Atoll
The rooms at the resort are equipped with a seating area, a flat-screen LED TV with cable channels and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a bath or shower. All rooms have a kettle and a desk. Sunrise/sunset can be viewed from the spacious balcony/terrace of the rooms.

Absolutely stunning location and close enough to Male to access more easily than many other resorts. The buffet breakfast and dinner (we did half board) were delicious and varied. The free snorkelling trip each day was awesome, but ultimately the turtle snorkel trip offered by the dive centre (paid) was way better with healthier reefs, unbelievable numbers of fish and many other incredible marine life (we saw rays, sharks, and turtles). Snorkelling around the island itself was also beautiful and the waters are shallow throughout making it easy and safe for children and less confident swimmers to enjoy. Sitting on the beach at the Nevi bar, enjoying the breeze and the sound of the waves was pure bliss. The room and view were beautiful and the outdoor shower (private) was cool. Staff were extremely friendly and always happy to help make your holiday special! We travelled during the "rain season" (July) but had gorgeous weather the entire stay!

There was a housekeeper who took care of the water villa we stayed in, named Balal. He was amazing and super clean and friendly. I would recommend if he could be promoted or even as a tourist ask about Balal. Overall the staff was great

We knew less about the place and decided by seeing the pictures and our trust on cinnamon brand. It turned out to be an amazing paradise going beyond our expectations. The Resort is very well maintained , the rooms were great , any slightest of concern was addressed immediately, extremely clean and safe . The lagoon offered various varieties of reef fishes which we were able to see already within the initial days . We hardly used the pool as the lagoon was great ! The restaurant was exceptional, the food by the team of Chef Kasun jayawardana is worth a mention . He and his team created a family atmosphere for the guest we throughly enjoyed the Koimala restaurant . Kasun , Navodya and team helped us create a wonderful memories on my sons birthday by surprising him with his most favorite dish at the table - very kind of them . The day for my sons started with chef Shelly’s omelette and her warmth towards them 😀.. don’t miss it. The taste and quality of the food , the varieties and more importantly the chefs warmth makes it addictive … you will never be bored of food routine. We also are extremely grateful to Ushan kumarasinghe and his amazing hospitality and support he gave us until we took the flight back. We were stranded at the airport during our return flight with an issue with the airlines and missed the flight. Had to call Ushan as we found ourselves in a helpless position and he had given us exceptional help in supporting us take the next flight and organized various support locally in Male airport to ensure a safe trip back and was constantly checking with us until we arrived home . He went above and beyond to support a family with kids in-need inspite of we checking out of the resort. Ushan carried the brand Cinnamon on his shoulders and held it higher by providing the best experience during our stay in the resort and ensuring safety of their guest even after the checkout process. Thank you Ushan and Cinnamon!

The restaurants, food and beverages were very good with a stand out being a dinner on the beach under the stars. Guests can do as much (in terms of water sports) or as little as they like.
