I chose the Star for its location out of town. This made all the difference as it is in a nice quiet spot perched over the sea and the views are lovely. I think the main feature overall was the caring kindness and hospitality of hosts Mani and Claire (and their assistance staff) and I am very thankful for their help and generosity to us. Estuvimos solo una noche para poder coger el avión al día siguiente en Dumaguete. Depués de un mes viajando por filipinas volvimos a comer pasta, ensaladas, atún…. Todo riquísimo! Es un lugar muy familiar y tienen mucho acercamiento con el cliente, una pena no a ver podido estar mas tiempo… nos encantó! Gracias a Gerardo por toda la ayuda! Sin duda repetiríamos.

We really loved our time here, situated up the mountain away from the noise and heat was perfect, close to all the great trekking trails and waterfalls all within walking distance, the place itself was immaculately clean and “A” Adrian is a very easy going and polite guy who gave us great recommendations for food and waterfalls to see. We were sad to leave after just 5 nights and would definitely come back as the area was our favourite in the Philippines.
