Bunaken
The Village Bunaken features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Bunaken. The accommodation provides a private beach area, as well as a restaurant and a bar. The resort has family rooms. The room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable with a nice bed, bathroom, etc. Our hostess was great and attentive to everyone's needs. The reef right out in front has some fantastic coral. Our excursions were great and so many snorkeling and dive spots nearby. This area is a great value. They do a super job keeping the grounds clean and tidy. The food was good. I would come here again for sure.
Bitung
K2 Lembeh Dive Resort features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bitung. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The air-conditioned rooms provide a mountain view and come with a desk and free WiFi. We had an excellent 7 night stay at K2 Lembeh. The owner and the staff are outstanding. Sharon, the owner, communicated in a timely manner, answering all questions before we arrived, and then helping with arrangements during our stay via WhatsApp. Irra, who is in charge of the house and restaurant staff, was efficient and conscientious and very kind. She took care of all the details and even arranged for me to accompany her on a shopping trip to a huge market in Bitung on a day I was not able to dive. It is one of my trip highlights. Man, who is in charge of overall operations, and the dive experience, could not have been any more helpful. From arranging the details of our transportation, to taking me, after hours, into Bitung to see a doctor for an ear infection (he made the appointment, guided me to it, and stayed with me to help me figure out what was needed), to directing our dives, he always went above and beyond. You can tell that he takes pride in the operation and is very conscientious about making each guest’s stay a good experience. Fiki, our dive guide, was one of the best I have had. He was excellent at finding all those cool Lembeh Strait critters, and I also always felt very safe diving with him as he was always aware of us in the water, and was encouraging and thoughtful to me, a still slightly uncomfortable diver. The food was delicious—lots of local dishes, lots of vegetables and fresh fish. It is served as a buffet in an open area with a stunning view down the hill and to the Strait. There are a lot of steep stairs up to the dining area, but we did not mind them. The guests shared a table for meals which I really liked, as we met so many interesting travelers. The cabins are spacious, with a deck and a fine view, AC that works well, and your own carboy of water, with both hot and cold-water options.

Among the various facilities of this property are a bar, a private beach area and barbecue facilities. The accommodation provides a concierge service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. I booked my trip in a rush, hoping to make a once in a lifetime visit to Sulawesi. I hadn't done much research, so it wasn't until I arrived in Lembeh that I realised I was far away from the famous Bunaken and could only do muck diving in Lembeh. The muck diving was PHENOMANAL for anyone wanting to see tiny stuff. However meeting other guests who had the foresight of booking the Manado and Lembeh sister resorts, I felt a bit embarrassed and a whole load of FOMO for coming to Sulawesi and not seeing Bunaken. I spoke to the management at Lembeh and they went away with my thoughts and after a day came back to confirm they had secured me a room and transfer at the sister resort in Manado and i would be able to continue my diving in Bunaken - and yes it was worth it, the coral walls and the turtles made it all worthwhile. The staff were attentive and lovely at both resorts. The dive guides in Mando were very mature and excellent. The food was great and the atmosphere between guests was excellent. I had a fab time as a solo traveller at both Thalassa resorts.
Likupang
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Coral Eye Boutique Resort and Marine Outpost offers accommodation in Bangka Island. The resort has a terrace and a private beach area, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Absolutely everything! An amazing stay, this is heaven on earth in Bunaken! The resort staff was superbly accommodating, making sure everything was done superbly and all our wishes were taken care of. Everyone is superbly kind, the resort is gorgeous, the diving is one of the best I have experienced... I am not doing this review justice in this short summary, because it really was so amazingly unreal. Don't think twice, just book and enjoy!
Manado
Thalassa Dive & Wellbeing Resort boasts 1 outdoor pools in the shade of jungle gardens, a restaurant as well as a lounge & cafe. Scuba diving can be arranged on site, while free WiFi is accessible throughout the entire resort. Simone, Maria, Ranty and the dive crew made it flawless. from the moment we arrived we fell in love with the tropical green paradise they have created. The lovely ladies at reception running to get us mosquito spray and offering to lend us their bikes shows their commitment to guest’s happiness and their beautiful kind hearts. The stunning freshwater pool that is not only the perfect temperature to cool down but is surrounded by bird song and lush gardens with flowers and canopies to admire as you float. The rooms with their glass jungle views and lovely comfy beds! The children adored their meal times with a game of pool on the side. Every meal was delicious and served with a smile. Then when we took our boat trips the Thalassa crew were full of sunshine smiles and laughter. Great companions for snorkelling, diving and jumping off the boat with the children. Creating memories we will never forget.
Bunaken
Siladen Resort & Spa is an eco-friendly beachfront resort with an outdoor pool, a private beach area and a restaurant overlooking the ocean. Water sports facilities are provided on site and WiFi is accessible for free in public areas. Beautiful little resort with great diving, food, staff and comfort. Staff went out of their way to pick us up in Manado in the middle of the night after multiple flight delays (beware of Lion Air; Garuda may be more reliable from Bali). We were so grateful that the staff left food and juice for us after our long travels - we were hungry at 3:30AM! Dive staff and diving and snorkeling were incredible. Food was very good. A/C worked well and there’s a fresh hot and cold drinking water machine in the room. Also went on a jungle excursion in Sulawesi which was a great tour the last day before we flew home. Can’t say enough good things about Siladen Resort. Would love to return one day.

The staff were so attentive and pleasant. They really made us feel welcome and t home. The dive staff were highly professional - we decided not todice at another resort due to their professionalism so we were really pleased and had a high degree of confidence
The 3will dive resort afford the full meal. Although the dishes are nearly same everyday, but every dishes are delicious especially the curry chicken and fresh fruit, I love the papaya most. About the accommodation, it's really natural, but I felt so annoy with those ants. About diving, I highly recommend Adam, I've been dived with him about 15 dives, he's so patient and humor.
Great budget resort, lovely private bungalow, diving was excellent, well organised and safe. Hire gear was great quality. Highly recommend 2 dives and a massage per day option. The food was okay. Very clean, staff extremely helpful.

Gracious hostess Ana who also cooked us some of the best food of our entire holiday. Beautiful grounds. Tasteful specious rooms. An eccekkff Ed by guide for the reserve. Saw Everything ! This must be the best resort near the reserve. Highly recommended.
Onong was being upgraded with renovations so guests were put next door in Kuda Laut which is a luxury resort owned by the same people. Very lucky!!!
