The University of Notre Dame is less than 4 miles from this Mishawaka, Indiana hotel. Varsity Clubs of America - South Bend features outdoor and indoor pools. Free WiFi access is available. Breakfast was good, but would have liked a few more choices ie: bagels or muffins. The one bedroom suite was very nice and the bed was comfortable.

Featuring a 56,000 sq ft casino, the Ameristar Casino Hotel is located in Indiana. This East Chicago hotel includes a restaurant and banquet facilities. Free WiFi access is available in guestrooms. the room was clearn and we like the way it was setup. We needed more things and got them right way.

The dinner menu was superb! We had brioche and tempura shrimp sushi. We also shared the shrimp linguini and a lemon berry cake. The coconut mojitos were also amazing. The continental breakfast was okay with fruit, cereal, some boiled eggs and refrigerated sandwiches. We went to our event across the hotel and there was some water on the floor due to the storm from the night before. Our event had lunch in the restaurant and once again it was delicious. The view and spaces to sit eat and relax made this work trip a small vacation.

For us, it is only an hour drive. I took so many pictures of flowers! The landscaping is gorgeous. The pools were very clean, all new carpeting throughout, freshly painted. Everyone was nice and always helpful. The food in the 2 restaurants was very good. And we got a AAA discount! My hubby played 9 holes & I rode along, so peaceful. I am looking at our calendar to see if we can get a weekend there again. Told all of our family & friends about it.

I love the furry duvet cover at the end of the bed. And how the ceiling in the casino makes a sun with the center being the bar, and the slot machines were the flames. Really Neat Architecture throughout.
