Facing the beachfront, Tung Quang Hotel offers 2-star accommodation in Cat Ba and has a garden, shared lounge and terrace. The room was very clean, I took the bus from hà Giang and i came to the hotel early so reception very helpful he helped me check in and give me some advice to do something on the island! I have booked a full day boat tour at the hotel , it’s so amazing Really high recommend

300 metres from Hospital Cave, Cat Ba Countryside Homestay is a recently renovated property set in Cat Ba and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Such good value for money. Rooms are clean and spacious. We loved the location in a village up in the mountain. You do need a scooter to get around. Owner is super helpful and knows good English. Also the tours and bus tickets are super reasonable. They serve good food, too.

We could ask anything, he made sure it’s done! He even followed up days after we left his appartement to be sure we were alright! It felt like being part of a family!
