Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelLazy staff that you have to physically go to every time you need something fixed or replaced. The room is ridiculously small for that price, the bathroom is very crowded with the sink, toilet and shower occupying the same space, so each shower floods the floor. I have stayed in much better places for a similar price in Greece.
It's five minutes of walking from a big supermarket and the bus station to Steni, Pyrgos, Kalloni, etc. About 15 minutes of walking from the ferry port, with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around.

OmanThe shower set-up is basic as mentioned in other reviews, but if you're happy to hold the showerhead and arrange the curtain carefully you can shower comfortably with a minimum of mess. The bathroom was spotlessly clean.
Really lovely small room with everything you need for a nice stay. Decent A/C for sleeping in the hot weather. Lovely balcony, shaded at breakfast time. Well located for the port (15 mins walk) and the beach at Ag. Fokos (5 mins walk). Very welcoming owner who was always happy to help.

United KingdomI would have welcomed the bins to be emptied daily and a water bottle in the fridge on arrival. - that would have made the stay exceptional for me. Also, the property is on the outskirts, approx 1.3km from port of arrival, and it's an uphill walk. So if you carry any heavy luggage, you really need some form of transport to get to the hotel. Cab's are very affordable and readily available. Just ask the owner to book them for you and give the driver a decent tip! It's worth it! :-) 😁
Very close to one of the best beaches on Andros, and exceptional hiking trails. With the owner's help I found one of the best breakfast places, the nearby Nero, as well as one of the best restaurants, Like Salt, in close proximity. If you are an early riser, like going for a swim or a peaceful run before breakfast - then this traditional hotel is in a perfect location as it's away from the morning hussle and buzz.

United KingdomIt was a bit difficult to find at first. Check-in could have been made easier. The room was small and cramped. It could do with a better distribution of the furniture relative to the power sockets.
It is a nice property. It is well situated and is set in a courtyard.

North MacedoniaThe double bed was too small for 2 people, my husband is 195 and myself 178cm tall. The bed had wooden frame and we could not fit at all. We slept in shifts... The toilet is also too small for big people. Its a nice place but for shorter people.
Balcony, closeness to both beach and the city, yet we had a motorbike. It was super clean! The Wi-Fi was stable.

United States of AmericaI can see the room getting more uncomfortable during the peak of summer due to the heat. I noticed there was some sort of Air Conditiong/Heater unit but I couldn’t figure out how to work it.
I liked how fairly priced the hotel is and it being a walkable distance from Chora, the port and the beach. The room was clean upon check-in.

Australiathe manager gave us the keys and we had no contact with him until we asked for a toilet roll! Our room was never cleaned which was OK cause we kept it clean & tidy but we had a separate bathroom with a key which was annoying & it never got cleaned nor did we get fresh towels in our 4 day stay! We did as requested & put our used towel paper in the bin provided & it was not emptied in the 4 night stay - got really foul smelling in the heat! Lazy manager as there were only a couple of rooms let in the time we were there
it was clean initially - we had a shoebox size room!

GreeceIf you carry a stroller, bear in mind that only stairs are available and they are quite confined.
Comfortable room, lots of space for kids to move around. The balcony was also a nice touch for some quiet time enjoying the view all around. Room was a 5-minute walking distance from the port where all shops / cafes are located but also far enough to avoid noise during day/night. Room also had basic amenities you would need. Owner was really friendly and assisted in any way he could, even going above and beyond!
