Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing! We actually liked the traditional nature of the room/property. And for a 2 night stay it was lovely to stay in something different.
We really liked staying here. We had a room with a balcony that directly overlooks the sea. Probably because we were out of season we did not have any noise from all of the seafront restaurants. The owner Athina is lovely, so helpful and kind.

United KingdomNothing.
Fantastic location, great full sea view room. Very easy to find, not far from the port. Our host Athina (Athina-A 🙂) was welcoming and very informative about the area. The property is an older style but there are lots of decorative and quirky touches and we were very comfortable. We slept well in the beds. This is somewhere we’d happily choose to stay again.

GreeceOur room was immaculately clean and full of personality. We felt at home and not like we were in a hotel. I especially loved the vintage bathroom tile which added to the room's retro and charming atmosphere. Diamanto's rooms are right in the town center and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and cafés but it is very quiet and peaceful.

United KingdomBed was a little hard for us. We thought there would be more room to self cater. It was a bit noisy at night so we had to shut the balcony doors which made it stuffy.

GreeceI don't have anything to note.
VFM! The cleanest room we have ever stayed in and with a nice sea view from the balcony. Worth the place for family with small children. It's all nearly from room. If you want a simple room with nice view without big budget. It is very good choice. Thanks Mrs. Athena for the hospitality!

PolandIf you are looking for a great Greek hospitality - you will find it here! Athina is a fantastic owner! You can feel at Diamanto Rooms as at home. We were welcomed despite our late arrival (late flight). We stayed at Diamanto Rooms in October. We liked the location - a lot of restaurants and markets nearby. We enjoyed our see front view from the balcony. Highly recommended for those who don't like big, luxury hotels :)

United KingdomI really can't fault Diamanto Rooms, one very small detail that would have helped is to have a chair in the room to sit on at the "dressing table" (chest of drawers) which I used as a desk at which to work on my laptop (when I wasn't out enjoying Eretria!) there is a "pouf", which I used and it worked OK though.
I felt instantly at home when I walked into Diamanto Rooms. The owner / host (Kiria Athina?) is super friendly and helpful, and showed me to my room with a full sea view, overlooking the Eretria promenade - lovely balcony to sit on and watch the tranquil sea, boats coming and going or just to people watch ! The room itself was compact but more than big enough, with a very comfortable bed, modern air conditioning, flat screen TV and a fridge and kettle, which was handy. The wifi worked well, always a must when I travel. The decor is "older style" but absolutely charming and you can see that the owners have put many years of love and attention into every detail. I was sad when my 5 days' stay was over ...

So close to the main centre/street, best location ever. Especially having a room with a sea view. Also the price is very cheap! The host is very friendly, helpful and speaks good english.

FranceThe balcony has a nice sea view but it is located just above a taverna which is extremely noisy. Even with the closed balcony doors you hear people shouting and eating all the time till very late (till 4am during the weekend). If you don't have a very sensitive sleep, it won't bother you maybe. Also, the kitchen wasn't working, it was closed. It wasn't mentioned anyway and when you plan to cook all the time that's not a good surprise at all.
Center of the city, nice sea view. Very close to the shops, to the sea. Good air-conditioning. Very close to everything

GreeceThe lightning was very poor in the room. There were only two lamps that weren't enough. Too difficult to put your charger or any device to the power strip.
Next to the sea. All the appropriate covid-19 measures had been taken by the owner. She was very friendly.
