Hotel is a little worn in places, a few scuffs in the room that require some attention, tv didn’t seem to work. This is not a typical hotel, feels more as though you are staying in someone’s home (which may not be to everyone’s taste).

Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, fantastic location (tucked away from the crowds). Pleasant breakfast and afternoon tea. Travelled as a female alone and felt safe.

Sleeping au natural is not recommended as the mattresses may be foam based and add a protector I sweated in my sleep. Best pack some jimjams

as a family of 4, we picked the suite and from pictures on Booking.com, it seemed like two bedrooms. it wasn’t.

Beautiful old world palace. Slightly shabby but chic, wonderful staff. Breakfast garden is charming and food was very good. The only inconvenience was the scaffolding over our window and not enough light in the room . Hard to put makeup on with no light.

We were 3 people staying in the loft apartment in June. While the bedroom(s) air conditioning was adequate, the common room/kitchenette was very hot with no way to cool it down. Also, the lighting in the common area of the apartment was very, very poor. It was hot in the (shared) bathroom. This would have probably been okay for a couple, but since we were 3 adults, we would have appreciated a functional common space.

The breakfast was fabulous with quick and excellent service and plenty of choice on the menu. The outdoor breakfast space is lovely. The main bedroom was huge (loft apartment). The facilities in the room were great--mini fridge with room for our own stuff and plenty of glasses, shampoo, etc. The location was good, but since it was so hot in Florence, walking even 1km was uncomfortable, and Florence is definitely a walking city. Of course, the temperature is not the fault of the property.

The palazzo is beautiful. The rooms are gorgeous. The pastries and breakfast in the garden are a delight. The staff is extraordinary! It is an elegant and authentic experience to stay at this wonderful spot. We love it and cannot wait to return!

this is very minor....of the seemingly hundreds of cable channels available on the TV in the studio there was not a single English language channel. Of course we did not travel to Italy to watch TV but did try to catch up on news. Might be a bigger issue for someone traveling for business, with kids etc.

Excellent location in the heart of Florence with restaurants only steps away. This is a lovely and lovingly maintained period home operating as an excellent small hotel with a special outdoor garden space. The reception staff were particularly helpful in booking a car/driver for a trip to Siena with sightseeing along the way. The breakfast was wonderful and the dining space most impressive with frescos and antiques and garden access it was the perfect place to start the day. We had the studio apartment which was spacious and would be very good for travellers with children. Would not hesitate to stay again.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, very welcoming, it felt like a home from home. Location was fantastic and the property was just stunning. The garden was beautiful, lovely to enjoy breakfast (which was great) in the sun. We will definitely return!
