- I wasn’t aware there were two separate sites which meant a short (uphill) walk for breakfast - but we actually enjoyed the morning walk in beautiful surroundings - There are cats around which were abit of a pain as we were travelling with a baby and they constantly jumped up on our table so we couldn’t use the outside area of our apartment

Horrible LED lighting inside the main room of the apartment we rented. There was not enough lighting in the main kitchen area/living/dining room area.

Beautiful farm stay location with a fantastic pool area. Decent sized apartment (rented 204). The grounds and location are excellent. The property is mid-way between Volterra and San Gimignano.

The music in the garden, for us, was disturbing. It is so nice and peaceful there that we could do without the music. Some more cloth hangers would have been good

Centrally located to Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, ……. Very nice staff, clean rooms, good breakfast The views are amazing and it is so quiet, which is nice. Nice big pool.

Breakfast could be more various. One type of ham and cheese every morning. Omelete and scrambled eggs cost extra fee. The lady at the restaurant in the evening didn't speak English at all so it was a little hard for us to communicate.

The location is perfect. Both buildings - the Villa and Borgo Mariano are in the middle of the beautiful Tuscan country side. The closest little town is 5 minutes drive. We stayed at Borgo Mariano and the place was so quiet and peacefull. We had our own little stone house which was an apartment with a spacious patio. The bed is comfy. Overall our stay was perfect. If you're looking for a relaxing hideaway this place is for you.

Location is amazing but beds could have better as my son's sofa bed was really hard and uncomfortable. Other than that the restaurant food was of great value and delicious.

We stayed in an economy room which was just fine however contrary to what the pictures suggest the room with couches is no part of it. They charge € 10,00 p.p. for breakfast so you got good expectations but it was actually so minimal and of such a low quality that it is just shameful to charge anything for it.

It is at a beautiful building at a quiet location with a great view and with easy and close exit to Sienna, Florence and the Chanti area. The food at the restaurant was very good. Also the WiFi was good, even at the far corner of the pool.

No clear glases, terrible dressed waiters (men), closed restaurant one day (we don't why), we got cold dinner on room.

The agriturismo is in a perfect location middle of vineyards. The reception is in different location (Villa Decimo), so do not be confused as I was. The agriturismo itself is in a typical Tuscany style. It has amazing swimming pool for spending the hot Italian summer afternoon with a lovely view. In the evening you can walk to the Castel San Gimignano which is really close or have a dinner in local restaurant. The rooms are very well accommodated and look beautiful. The only disadvantage in my room was unfunctional air conditioning. However the atmosphere of this place is stunning. Recommended.

Reception far from room, parking outside not front of house No fully equipped kitchen in room, No toaster No matches or lighter (got one afterwards) No tongs No vegan breakfast or dinner available for us Long grass in the property not allowing walks around with kids. Beautiful area for such a poorly maintenance Wifi doesn’t reach bedroom Cats everywhere, can’t open windows because no fly screens installed and the cats squeeze inside You have to take Rubish outside to the bins at checkout otherwise you get penalised. They tried to charge me for a crib, which we didn’t request and they didn’t provide

The location was excellent for visiting the various towns but you do need a car. The facilities were good and the apartments had everything you needed.

We left swiftly after 1 uncomfortable night even though we were booked for 1 week. That says it all The accomodation is not the shown clearly online or email. The email recieved days before showed a basic room but with a living room. Unfortunately you have to share this (Rooms A + B, are located off the same shared living room under the room number) and this was NOT mentioned. After booking we got an email about wearing a swimming cap at the pool, found this odd - this info wasn't clear before. The 'terrace' is shared & in a state of disrepair. The bed was old, hard. Mattress stained, pillows flat & heavy like sandbags. The 'in room fridge' was a plug in freestanding mini fridge shoved under the seating part of the desk. No water provided, not even a glass in the room. No amenities. That night sadly we thought we are just victims in an oversaturated summer... and it could be handled professionally. So in the morning we message their whatsapp (reminder - reception is a drive away in another location) to ask to speak with the manager. They simply replied 'The owner is away until september'. I have to ask who can we speak to in their absence, they ask what we need help with. We decided then, to pack our bags, but go to speak in person. At reception we were faced with agression, defense, THE most unprofessional customer facing experience. I have never been spoken to like that in my life, in any capacity. She was an older blonde woman, defensive, angry and seemingly inexperienced in dealing with customers - i think the same that answers here! Once we started talking, she started shouting over us screaching 'I dont care, I don't care' not allowing us to speak. At one point she told us to go away back to your rooms or leave, threatened us with police, to charge my card, leave us bad feedback. I cannot believe this is the face of a business.

The restaurant, great food, friendly waiter. This is in stark contrast with the accomodation. Reception is in the villa part you see online, we were sent to a farmhouse complex down the road. At least the restaurant was there - thats the only postive we have to say. One of the worst experiences we have had travelling in our lives.
