I had a great stay there. The staff was incredibly kind, ready to help, perfect. Very clean, nice bathroom, comfortable bed. It's just a few steps from the train and bus station and close to the historical centre. The breakfast was simple but very good. I will definitely choose Il Gallo Bianco again.

Only thing was that you can hear the noise coming from the hallway very well. So in the mornings it might be a little loud as people go for breakfast.

Whilst the location is right next to the station it is a 5 minute walk to the nearest restaurant and even further into the historic cenrte of the city.

Great location right across the road from the railway station so less than 5 minutes walk. However, it was very quiet. Hotel is very modern and very clean. Great choice for breakfast. Bed very comfortable and the room is spacious. Train to the airport is only 5 mins away so 20 minutes door to door.

The Hotel was good I wouldn't change anything., except maybe the speed of the lift, which was a little on the slow side but a useful thing to have.

The breakfast was the usual continental style with plenty of fruit, cheeses and meats as well as cereal and juices, I especially like the small crusty rolls, The Hotel was opposite the railway station on one of the main roads into the City, but it was extremely quiet. My room had a good sized terrace and breakfast was served in another very large terrace which guests could sit out in the evening if they wanted to. The room was a good size, with a comfy bed and powerful shower and great aircon.

Three things made this stay great 1. Staff are really helpful, reception told us where to go in Cagliari and breakfast staff were great 2. Breakfast! While simple is very effective and provides a great start to the day 3. Location is perfect close to the train and bud stations, but more importantly it’s near the best food area of Cagliari

The room was immaculately cleaned. We had a gorgeous view from our balcony. We could see the mountains! The service was impeccable. The staff were so kind and helpful even with the language barrier as they were Italian speaking and we are English speaking. We enjoyed every thing about it. Lovely air conditioning, comfy beds, very central location, and lots of space for suitcases and clothe. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again when going again to Sardinia!

I very much enjoyed my stay at Il Gallo Bianco. It is in a good central position but quiet which was nice. I had a nice big comfortable room and bathroom opening out to a nice garden terrace. The room was kept immaculately clean. A nice breakfast is provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very convenient location for walking around the city centre. For anyone arriving by train it would be perfect with the station entrance being only about 100m. Clean and comfortable room but not what I would class as ‘deluxe’. The balcony was not of any benefit because it overlooked a busy road and the railway tracks. I would recommend taking a room at the back of the building, opening onto the terrace where breakfast is served.

Strangely, the breakfast service ran out of fresh rolls quite frequently - maybe need to increase the daily order! For example, one morning I learnt that 5 rooms had chosen to eat breakfast at 07.30. Consequently there was no more fresh bread for other hotel guests choosing to eat breakfast at 08.00!

The air conditioning system was amazingly quiet and efficient - a rare experience in hotels! All decorations were to a very high standard - light and bright throughout the hotel.
