There is a bit of discrepancy indoor-outdoor regarding the updates. The room, especially the bathroom is verry outdated.

The location was amazing, Every corner looks like a postcard from Tuscany. Lovely outdoor place for dinning and great breakfast selection.

It would have been nice to have an iron/ironing board rather than the laundry/ironing service but that’s just us - ease and speed of it all really.

Stunning location with amazing views over Tuscany and Chianti. We are one night at the restaurant, highly recommended! Breakfasts were delightful, especially the home made cakes! Beautifully refreshing pool too.

Our bathroom in the room need a bit of an upgrade.

Breakfast selection was exceptional and the staff managed all requests and really happy to please. The owners worked in the kitchen and really had a great family feel about the property.

Everything was amazing, the view, the staff was so educated and so supportive. The restaurant and the cooking is also perfect and delicious. It was my second time in Toscana and decently i will be again in the same villa.

* Shade. The terrace outside the main building is an amazing lounge area, but with no shade or parasol, it's unusable during the day. * Lunch. Because the restaurant isn't open for lunch, you need to leave the hotel during the day. If there was offered some light meals, like cheese, cured meat, fruit and maybe sandwiches, the kitchen could prepare it in the morning and serve lunch without kitchen staff throughout the day.

Amazing location at the top of a hill with great views and atmosphere. The staff was the most welcoming and service minded people I've ever met at a hotel, and through the few days it felt like they made an effort to know their guests.

Amazing breakfast was included in our stay and we also got a chance to have dinner at the restaurant with an unforgettable sunset view. The staff was really helpful and kind, and gave us a lot of useful recommendations for wine tours, sites to see and visit and activities available in the region.

The only think I didn’t like was the small period of time spent there. If I knew, how it would be I would spend at least one more day.

Quite place with excellent view and friendly staff. But the most important is that with this kind of renovation this family made to the specific property, they gave life to a historic building. Feels like you go back to history in a fully renovated room.

The location is absolutely beautiful with stunning views over the countryside. The rooms are nice, and the restaurant is very good. The staff are nice and very helpful. Overall a very peaceful relaxing stay!

The room was very warm but this was due to Tuscan rules that air con cannot be turned on until 1 June. The staff were very helpful when we noted our discomfort and provided a fan.

A beautiful hotel and location, perfect for a relaxing break. The pool and spa were great, the hotel food was outstanding and the staff were lovely.

Overall everything is good; I would have preferred a bit more attention in the finishing of the bedroom and restroom. All the rest was great.

Lovely wide selection, delicious coffee, nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful setting within the chianti region with good access by car to tourist spots.

Some free water in the fridge in our bedroom would have been nice.

Situated in a picturesque location with stunning sunset views in the surrounding hills, the staff were all really helpful and friendly (especially Diana), and gave a great recommendation for dinner in Castellina in Chianti (about 15mins drive). We both enjoyed a relaxing massage in the spa, and the pool had plenty of nice spots for sunshine or shade. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast in the garden was very impressive indeed.
