Beds were too close to the ground, felt like sleeping on the floor. The same breakfast option every day 🫠

Hotel & room were clean. Staff were polite but some of them didn't speak English well. Location is great - close to many bus stops & subway station; walking distance from Gion area Luggage was stored freely & securely until check-in. Breakfast was tasty but it was the same meal every day.

The sound insulation was bad. The AC was loud. The bed was sliding apart constantly, maybe I'm not used to traditional Japanese beds. The breakfast was not good: you only get a 'standardized' plate with croissants, some fruit and vegetables. Not pleasant if you're not a vegetarian. And you can't choose what you get, so if you don't like everything, it gets thrown away, which is a waste of food. I ended up buying other food from 7/11, because I was still hungry. The breakfast is not worth the money. There was no bottled water in the room.

The location was quite alright. The dining room in the basement was useful, where you can bring your own food and drinks. There was a designated smoking room and laundromat. The hotel was clean.

Beds and pillows could be a little bit more comfy, and I would prefer if the entrance to the room was made in a better way, I ended up tripping on the small step in the room, being too close to the entrance door.

Loved the location, decent lobby and very much enjoyed the Lounge. Very much recommended if a person needs to get some work done.

The room stank like crazy, had to open the window and spray air refreshers like crazy. Also some hairs could be found which were not ours; we are both blonde.

It was modern and close by the center and nice restaurants.

breakfast is same. no rice just bread and fruits and some veggie salad, you have to eat outside if your not used to breads, some hairs on the beds too just noticed when we just arrived, but over all managable, a quiet place to stay.

Nothing to complain about.

The room was huge for Japan. And the double bed was pretty big too. It was a futon style low to the floor but very comfortable. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. Bathroom was standard size, Japan small but very clean. The staff were very nice and helped us send our suitcase to our next hotel. The breakfast was basic, and the same every day but it was free, fresh and it wasn’t awful. The location was very central right by multiple bus stops that we got and about a 5-8 minute walk to the metro.

Not well insulated cold air coming in from the closed window above the bed, room wasn't properly cleaned during our stay (4 nights - only made the bed and picked up the trash). Overall seemed a bit tired/outdated.

Good location, easy access to public transport not far from city centre. Kind staff.

The WiFi was absolutely terrible. It was hard to connect and when it did connect, it constantly said “no service”. Definitely not able to do any work from the hotel. While the washer and dryer were great additions to the hotel, there is only 2 of each and they were full almost all the time.

Love the art on every floor and the free coffee and tea in the lounge area (nice that there is a lounge area too!). Beds were quite big and comfortable. Also nice that there’s a washing machine and dryer available. Location was great!

Location was great. It was clean and tidy. Staff were so friendly and gave us lots of treats on the first day. Slightly inconvienant that the beds were 2 single ones but we made do!
