The AC wasn't working properly, and the room takes a very long time to cool. You only get one key so leaving the AC on while you're out isn't an option. But I must mention that I didn't bring the issue to the management's attention, who may or may not have done something about it.
I liked the location although next time I go Krabi I would prefer to be closer to the beach

With the siblings ownership, There should be unified system to be not so complicated. That could be better for the price of the WAKE UP part of the resort house .
The young staff was very friendly... And learning fast. :-)

Floors are sometimes swept but not mopped so very dirty. The shower had no ventilation so was very smelly and damp. It also wasn’t clean but it was so dark you could pretend not to notice!!
Great location close to the beach. The hostel has access to the hotel next door’s pool. Ask them to take you up in a golf cart to the infinity pool, it was amazing.

Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 11. I don't think is a big hostel to have that much delayed in have the rooms ready but that is the only thing I can complain about.
Bed was nice, location was nice and room was nice. Room doesn't have cupboard for clothes, only few hangers... but it was ok. It has the hand wash, the toilet and shower separate from each other, and the hand wash is in the room. The sun was the whole day pointing our room and it gets super warm but aircon works fine (a bit tricky to find out how it works but when you find it all good). You can use the swimming pool from the other hotel which is quite nice. The last day we left our luggage in reception, went to visit other island and went to the swimming pool in the other hotel to change clothes and have a last swim before go to the airport. You can book transport to the airport in reception but do it in advance as it can be fully booked.

I was in a mixed dorm and the toilet and shower are in the room with thick frosted glass doors. I wasn’t super comfortable using them when other people were in the room, more so when I was sharing with a guy. So maybe I would have gone for the female dorm if I had realised. Also if you’re in different schedules to your room mates it’s a lot more noise having everything in the room. So would be great for a group of four friends to share. It’s in a very convenient area but check that Ao Nang is what you want. It wasn’t really my vibe, so check it’s the area you want before booking.
Clean room with AC. Was surprised with complimentary water and fresh towels daily. Good location to get boats and do tours and very close to the beach. Great you can use the pools in the next door hotel. Big lockers for bags and some hangers provided. Also privacy curtains and private light and plug by the bed. Reception area had lots of places to sit, lots of plugs for charging electronics and they were happy for you to leave bags with them.

Clean, modern rooms. Close to the beach and right next to the shops, cafes and restaurants. We had access to the pool of the hotel next door, which was great.

The keys for entering the bedroom was deactivated 4 times and one of those was at night when the reception is closed and the phone numbers that were there didn’t work. In the description it says daily house keeping but the bathroom was always dirty and smelly. They do changed the towels twice in a week but they never changed the bedsheets in 8 days even when I asked. The WiFi was really bad specially in the bedroom 😅.
I liked the location mainly, plus the amazing access to 2 swimming pools and one of them with an excellent view. I recommend this place for travellers that will be there for a short time since it’s pretty close to the beach for taking the tours to Phi Phi Islands, if you want to relax after the tour in the swimming pool with a nice drink is ideal. But not recommended for more that 3 days 😅.

I think the staff could be more pleasant and inviting. Also, we did not receive a refill on our soap, when we informed the receptionist (it was around 9pm+) she was very unpleasant and said that someone would come in to refill. We waited for 20 minutes and I went back to the reception only to find out that reception was closed and all staff was out from duty. We had to buy soap from outside as there was no more soap left in the room.

Lights were quite dim in the room. Water filter in the lobby was not frequently refilled. Pool towel offered is like a table cloth.
Pleasant stay. Great location - super close to the beach. Reasonably clean, bed comfortable, toiletries sufficient. Staff friendly, allowed us to check in early. Water filter in the lobby.
