Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ThailandHotel interior decoration tone look too colorful and fuzzy pattern on carpet-floor and wall, it made me feel relax-less moods but it may be owner's style that unfortunately not match my taste.
Hotel is not a big building but easy to find with google maps, actually it located on main road close to the MRT Beimen station and I found it was very good for only 5 min. walk to the in-town check-in point for drop baggage in the morning before go to the airport at Taipei main station. Ximenting is just 1 station ride or can walk or take a bus. The hotel didn't have breakfast but they gave me some instant noodle cup and serve fresh coffee for 24H at their tiny lobby on ground floor. Room was enough space for three people with 2 beds and wet/ dry bathroom separately. Even a small building feels a little uncomfortable but the staff was very friendly and location is so convenient for my last day in Taipei.

United KingdomOne of the two beds in the twin room was a fold down bed and the mattress thin.
It has a reception and friendly staff, a lift, good wifi, and like all Taiwan bathrooms seem to have, excellent water pressure for a powerful shower.

BulgariaI payed more for the included breakfast, than I would have, if just went to the breakfast place normally, so I felt cheated a bit. Although the staff is polite and helpful, in the beginning they tried to give me a room which had a window facing the next building's wall from so close, that it was almost completely dark and it felt like in a basement. I did pay for a room with a view, so I had to complain, in order for the room to be changed. The next room was better, but all the sliding windows were frosted, so I had to completely open them in order to see the outside world, which sucks. It's 2 layers of sliding of windows, so they could have just put transparent on the front.
The location is very convenient and the room is well maintained. The staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was a 100 TWD voucher for the nearby burger/sandwitch place, and they had a good sandwiches there.

United States of AmericaRooms were very cramped. Barely had space to store luggage. Walls were also thin. Could hear the couple next to us having sex.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They always supplied us with bottled water and snacks. Quiet neighborhood with local eateries. Accessible to most of Taipei. Free coffee 24/7.

CanadaThe rooms have liliputian size....there's no room to maneuver around the bed, you have to put your luggage on the bed corner. Everything is really cramped. The bed should be reduced from king to regular bed, it will help a bit. The shower is a big joke...a kind of a half tub without curtain and the bathroom is also very small. They have a good coffee maker at the reception, it's free but unfortunately the coffee is not good!.
Location is good, near Taiwan main station. Many restaurants close by. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

JapanThe bath/shower didn't have curtains, the whole bathroom was always wet after shower, they could invest in a bath curtain, it will make things better.
The room was very cute, I liked the style feels like 80s or 90s. The bed was huge and comfortable and location was convenient. Also the receptionist gave us cup noodles and snacks when we checked in (it was meat cup noodle so not suitable for those with food restrictions and vegeterians, we didn't end eating them because we are vegeterians, but it was thoughtful and a nice welcome).
