“The bathroom was very tight. The shower head was terrible. Granted , this is an old hotel. It was very clean. The staff was nice. The beds need to be updated. But the price was ok and the location was close to most everything.”
“A basic but very practical hotel, easy to use in every way. Good parking. A very short walk to an excellent sea food restaurant. A small balcony with amazing views. Comfy beds.”
“Beautiful garden, nice idea with vintage furniture. It could be perfect if the furniture were clean and tables weren't shaky in the breakfast room. Food was tasty and the coffee was too weak.”
“Bedding and room itself were clean. Reception was nice, staff were all welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was more than adequate, just tiny portions but you could help yourself to continental bits and they offered a few warm options. We were offered some nice additions like cookies and wine in the evening, although we didnt attend. The indoor pool was warm. The room was adequate.”
“We have stayed here several times and it has always been a good experience. We get the ocean view room, and that never disappoints. Always clean and comfortable.”
“Absolute top of the list of things I like is the view. It's difficult to overstate how breathtaking the view of the ocean is right from the balcony. I will add that the view from the third floor is the best as it is above the small dune that shelters the hotel from the ocean.
I also love that the rooms run the width of the building, offering views of both the sunrise and sunset and comfortable chairs on each side.
We spent the extra few dollars to get the room with the hot tub. After a full day of walking, this was a welcome treat to relax in before heading to bed. Only recommend two people in this tub if they are exceptionally comfortable with being entwined with each other.
There is a full kitchen so you can go to the market and buy some food rather than waiting hours to get into any of the good eateries during the busy season. Hands down, this is the best way to stay at the beach on a budget.”
