Friendly staff, great location, onsite parking, shared amenities with the Hollander next door (nice pool, bars, and good restaurant). The suite was comfortable and quiet. The evening wine reception was a nice touch.

Kitchenette oven was leaning a bit sideways and gave me a motel vibe . Though that’s an easy fix !

Upon arrival Greeted with champagne : ) Cute retro style decor and good location. It was close enough to the booming Downtown bars but far enough for peace and quiet at night . We had breakfast at the sister property and were pleasantly surprised that it was easy on the pocket for such a nice place. Oh and I cannot forget to mention the bed was truly the fluffiest I’ve ever had in a hotel .

The room was darker than I prefer when trying to get ready but that was beneficial when it came to sleep! No other dislikes.

Nice vibe boutique hotel. Bed was comfy and the property location within walking distance to most of downtown. Access to their partner property The Hollander is a plus.

The bed was pretty hard, but for one night it wasn’t terrible.

We liked the pool and dining areas, we loved that the shuttle took us to the stadium for the baseball game.

The Tap room restaurant wasn’t as good as previous years. Don’t know why? Our flatbread one night was cold and tasteless. And blueberry pancakes were lacking the promise of blueberries(just a few sprinkled on top) . A little disappointing since it’s usually an amazing experience. Perhaps next year it will return to our expectations . Regardless, this is our favorite place to stay and eat in St Pete and everyone who works there are friendly and helpful.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks again Larissa for helping me check in when I arrived early. Loved my room. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was excellent. Always had hot water. It’s great that guests staying at the Avalon Hotel can go next door to the Hollander and dine at the restaurant and use the pool. There’s also a coffee shop with delicious coffee and desserts. I’ll definitely stay at the Avalon Hotel next time I’m on vacation in St. Pete’s!

We loved the location, the staff and amenities. REALLY loved the free shuttle that Avalon and its sister property Hollander provided. Top notch! We enjoyed free coffee in the lobby every morning and sitting on the huge porch and watching the world come awake. Larissa at the front desk is exceptional!

Very friendly staff. Met the manager Tim and Kevin at the front desk was very helpful. Also told me how I could go to the pier which was just a few minutes away and that I could see the sunrise I went the next morning and was truly blessed by it. 😊

The parking was the only inconvenience because of limited space.

I liked the vintage, artistic coziness when walking into the lobby area. The staff is amazing and informative. The restaurant was located at the adjoining Hollander hotel next door and the food was great with lots of delicious options. Pool and bar area was amazing during happy hour. The images of the Avalon hotel that I saw online prior to our stay were exactly as the pictures showed. Beautiful hotel and I will be back.

I think maybe the rooms could use an upgrade and some soundproofing applied to the walls might make the stay a bit nicer.

The staff was super friendly, the hotel was cute and modern with some room style aspects. The walls are thin and the heating and air situation seemed kind of cheap. the blinds were chipped in the room I stayed in.

The closet, to store your clothes their wasn’t and actual light to use, other than that no complaints nice corner room nicely decorated!

Close to where I needed to be for a wedding. Great location downtown st Pete. Water available all day 24/7. Also champagne and wine was great nice touch! The decor of the hotel and rooms

Kitchen was sparsely stocked. One small "old"' fry pan, one small pot, no knives, no glasses. Stove burners didn't fit so pan wasn't level enough for cooking.

Location was great for Blues concert at Vinoy Park. Uber picks up at the front door within minutes. Maid service was excellent. Lobby had lemon water, bottled water, coffee and a nice front porch to relax on. Free parking for your car while walking to everything. Free trolley looper to go further.

Rooms are very small. Wi-Fi did not work in our room although we never complained. Wasn’t that big of deal to us.

Love the patio outside. Very comfortable. Walkable to most stuff downtown. 1 mile to most places. Staff very friendly.

We loved the hotel and its design, the vibrant setting and the very friendly, smiley and helpful staff. The Pier and all the fancy places are easy to reach. Thank you very much for your hospitality and we highly recommend the Avalon and its sister property.

The parking. The room and bathroom was small. Also the room appeared to be a much older room. There were no microwave or refrigerator.

Carpeting in bedroom, walls on thin side - could hear people in hallways, a little bit of a walk from water.
