How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lobby/Breakfast are can be a bit bigger. There were a few stains on the furniture in the rooms.
Modern looking hotel - love that! Free breakfast and love the water refill and ice.

The parking was absolutely awful. The only spaces available were in the parking garage. There was no room to maneuver. I was either too close to a nearby car or too close to a cement post. I had to go back and forth inches at a time to get out of a space. This happe ed during both times I parked.
The breakfast was all right. I appreciate that the floors in my room weren't rugs. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

The breakfast situation was a bit odd. Breakfast was supposed to be between 6.30 to 9.30 am. The first day we came down at 9-ish and the only things left where a few bagels, but no spread and a handful bags of instant oatmeal. No muffins, no spread, no milk, no breakfast sandwiches, not even tea bags. And we weren‘t the only ones wondering, but nothing got refilled. The second day we came down at 6:45 and they had just started to put everything out. This time we had more options, but it wasn‘t until 7-ish until they had everything out.
The welcome and check-in was warm and friendly. Our room was exceptional clean and provided a lot of hooks and room to put our things (which doesn’t seem common in most hotels). The bed was comfy and we slept very well. The gym was small but clean and had everything for a proper workout. When our neighbor had the TV on full volume the staff immediately took care of it and accommodated everyone needs. It was a great stay, especially for an airport hotel.

Need microwave in rooms. Cold meals not good all the time,. If food could be reheated it would be less expensive.

Had a difficult time keeping the shower door closed but otherwise everything was perfect!
The friendliness of staff, ease of check in and all the little extras in the lobby. Being able to schedule a late check out was a plus for my husband after dropping me off at the airport very early in the morning and it’s always great to find a hotel that’s pet friendly!

If you want to be downtown not the hotel for you. If you don’t mind being off the beaten path a bit it’s perfect.

Very busy with what appeared to be school children, most of which were accompanied by parents/guardians. Nothing appeared to be of high quality. It was all prepackaged/premade or mass produced

The beds are horrible! We tossed and turned all night long. The beds were too soft. The bedding was too warm.
We loved the location and the new building. The staff and breakfast was wonderful.

Walking to anything nearby is difficult due to the local road layouts being busy highways without crossings. There is also not much in the immediate vicinity, so if you don't have car access while there your options are limited for evening meals. Breakfast is also pretty underwhelming and consists mostly of pre-packaged muffins, ceral bars etc and rather limp ersatz sandwhiches. Still, it is edible
Very convenient access to the airport and also right on the bus route into Salem, MA. Airport shuttle service is very useful. Staff were very helpful, great service

Lobby area not particularly appealing (but the room made up for it); ‘grab & go’ breakfast includes egg dishes with cheese. Would be nice to have a little omelette without dairy.
Super clean room and bath; at least seven grab bars in the (huge) bathroom (5 in the shower/tub alone); pillow ‘menu’ is great; big guest room; comfy bed; nice ‘grab & go’ breakfast. Shuttle service excellent.
