The late evening front desk person wasn't too friendly or helpful.

Breakfast was good. We used this hotel on our way from NYC to FL and its proximity to I-95 was beneficial and very convenient. The check-in process is extremely simple. It looks like a new building, everything is spacious and clean.

The location was not in a place I would like to stay again. Two female staffers at the front desk need to be trained on customer service. They behaved as if we interrupted their day with the very dry attitudes. On their personal phones and hanging out with friends in the lobby area. Didn’t want to assist had to ask them to speak up for assistance.

The room was clean with a little mildew around the shower. They didn’t have an iron but the gentleman there did get us one when asked.

It was a fantastic hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were warm and inviting. Breakfast was fantastic. I wish there had been more Avid hotels to stay at during our travels.

The hotel was VERY CLEANNN. The staff is amazing and very friendly. I will forever be staying here every time I go to Savannah. The breakfast is also great it’s the best hotel breakfast I ever had.

Both elevators were extremely slow to the point that I waited over 10mins and decided to carry my bag down four floors. Unfortunately the door did not exit near the front of the building so I had to roll bag all the way around from back to check out. I let the woman at check out know the issue with the elevators and she got me a nice large coffee to go for free. It seemed they were aware elevators are slow when many people are trying to leave. One elevator had the cleaning people in it so no one could get on. Not sure why they didn't use a service elevator. No complimentary coffee. Complimentary coffee may not seem like a big deal but most chain hotels now offer it. Parking lot was confusing to navigate gates. I went out the morning of check out and had trouble getting back in even though I was not yet checked out. When I did leave I needed a card to exit which of course I didn't have because I was checked out so that made no sense.

Room was nice and comfortable. Bed could have been a little less soft but that is my taste. Room was clean and spacious. Room was quiet also since I had seen some comment that you didn't want to be in one of the rooms below the gym or ballrooms or you would get no sleep. They do have pool tables and shuffleboard with board games available like Even Hotels. The lobby though was very dark so if you wanted to read it would have been difficult. Also there were not enough chairs in the lobby for the size of the hotel and lobby.

Room cleaning could be better my trash cans didn’t have bags. The shower and fridge were dirty soap dispenser didn’t work but other than that it was great.

How I paid Booking in advance and I also paid Avid hotel. I did not received a reciept because the clerk state she fix the error in the over charge and send my receipt as of today. I have not seen the overcharge of $331.00

Only thing I can say was the floor was sticky at breakfast and it was chaotic. But... There was a peewee football tournament and there were a lot of very happy children.
