The breakfast is served in a personal box, which you receive at the reception and then go to the next room to eat, and there was also a coffee machine. A bit strange, the first time we experienced something like this. An important note - even if there are 4-3 of you in a room , breakfast only comes to 2. Absolutely ridiculous. But we read about it in advance so we were aware and it didn't surprise us like others. My main disappointment was that I booked the room a few months in advance and asked for a high floor overlooking the marina, I am a travel blogger and the view from the room is very important to me, and I was disappointed to receive a room on the 1st floor overlooking the marina. I expressed my disappointment but unfortunately they had no solution for me. To their credit they did try to help and offered to split us into 2 double rooms on the 2nd floor but with small children this is not an option. But they have no family rooms left on the 2nd floor that face the view. I think that with a little attention to the requests of customers in the future it will make everyone happy.

The design of the room is beautiful and clean. Good for a family with 2 double beds. A large pool with great water, the children enjoyed refreshing themselves in it. There was also a jacuzzi in the pool. The hotel area is well maintained and clean, and the surrounding palm trees add to the tropical atmosphere. Parking in the hotel area near the rooms is free - a big plus.

I chose this hotel because the rental bikes was included but honestly you need to buy new ones, I ended with pain in my knee because I couldn't adjust the seat which was broken. Also the breakfast is not good.

The room I had expected wasn't available, it took an hour to check in and I had to compromise on room choices. ( Next day, after speaking with the Manager, I was offered a small refund) which eased the situation. I am not a fan of the breakfast box, prefer to choose what to eat from a buffet type situation. Housekeeping let the hotel down badly, during a 5 day stay, the beds were made once, dirty towels left in the tub, clean towels had to be requested.

The bed, linen & pillows are all good quality and comfortable. The pool is amazing, warm, large, easy access in and out. We had a view of the marina which was very nice, balcony chairs are comfortable. Nice to walk down to the 'Pointe' to sit and watch the sunset, a couple of hammocks to relax in also. All but 1 staff I met were very pleasant. The Manager is fairly new to the hotel but came across as caring and wanting to do his best.

The outside landscaping and property was unkept and run down. There was no ice machine to get your own ice. The refrigerator in the room was very small. The outdoor furniture needed some repairing. The tiki bar looked like it hadn’t been used for quite a while and was not open once during our stay.

Having paid what seemed like "all of the money" we arrived a little early and walked around the resort. Some volleyball and giant "connect 4" were on the "sea side" of the hotel along with a "skip" which the locals pulled up at night to scavenge scrap metal and other treats from. On arriving at reception we were informed is was "just the additional $250 to pay". Eh - "for what"? The "resort fee". Eh - "what's that"? "The fee for using the resort facilities" It had a this point gone a bit "Dead Parrot sketch" and decided to forego how you could stay without using facilities like "the stairs". So - just be sure when you book if that fee is included or excluded.......... Onwards and upwards to "breakfast" for another Monty Python experience. You couldn't make it up - simply couldn't. Other establishments nearby dont provide a breakfast and that may have been a bit of a clue. Why would you hand out breakfast in a cardboard box? Answer "so you can't actually see the breakfast". The delights included scrambled egg wrapped in a condom, apples wrapped in clingfilm that may have been edible around the time of JFK's assassination and cereal that had a sugar content so high that even the local wasp population were turning their noses up at it. The highlight was when the milk ran out. It was like a Martian had landed - total confusion as to what to do. The whole concept of "milk" for things like the coffee and sugar laden cereals was not making any sense. Had this situation never happened before? Had anybody given any thought to this unbelievable phenomenon based on presumably thousands of previous breakfast sessions? i.e. "have we got enough milk for tomorrow"? Who knows? I was looking round for Jeremy Beadle.

The room was very comfortable, the location and facilities very good.

The “bar”! This was a total let down. The bars were like never open for service. I appreciate the attempt at having the bar open with a warm body to sell caned drinks. But everyone wished they could drink their favorite mixed drinks by the pool and the sunset. The pool area and landscaping we pretty rough. Needs some tlc. We will not be coming back because of these two things.

Marina was nice, ALL staff were awesome, positive and polite. Great job on staff, that is always the hardest part.

Room very large and clean. Bathroom is also very comfortable. We only stayed one night so we could not evaluate other services but overall the accommodation is very nice. The wharf behind the hotel is amazing, from there you can watch a breathtaking sunset. It's a very pity that during our stay the bar on the beach was closed, I think that it would be a very plus for overall experience.

Pictures show a beach that does not exist very misleading. Breakfast sucked, even cheapest sleep inns do a better breakfast. Felt sick everything at the resort was done on the cheap.

Decor a little tired. Breakfast arrangements not ideal. You had to collect a take out style box from main reception then take it to breakfast room. All plastic cutlery & paper plates - not so eco friendly!

We didn't like that - even everything was already paid for we had to pay more money at the check in. It was a fee, that other guests complained about, too. We stayed 5 nights and only after the first 2 nights the room was cleaned.

We liked the view from our window.! It is great to have the option of using the bicycles . And the pool plus whirlpool was super!
