Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe host would love to talk to you about the town and the B&B. If you need to be somewhere or would like to get going after breakfast, you will need to interrupt him and tell you kindly that you need to get down the road.
The location and breakfast are wonderful. Learning a little bit about the town and the house is good. But just a little bit.

We had a very spacious and tastefully furnished room, equipped with everything that we could wish for. Learning about the history of this house from host Andrew, while savoring a delicious breakfast, was definitively a highlight during our stay. For guests arriving by car: Free parking lot is located right in front of Bazsinsky House.

United StatesIt’s hard to pick something we didn’t like. Would have liked to have had more outlets by the bed as I sleep with. CPAP and always charge my phone overnight. Other than that, it was perfect.
Room was perfect. Breakfast was perfect. Andrew (owner) was great. He greeted us upon arrival and made us feel welcome from the start. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very spatial. Andrew sat with us for breakfast and told some great stories of the history of the house and the town. We were very pleased with the overall stay. Would stay here again.

United StatesNo complaints.
Due to storms/tornadoes, we took an unexpected route on our travel to TX and stumbled on the Bazsinsky House for a short stay. Cannot imagine a more delightful B and B. Andrew was so welcoming and shared recommendations for stops and dinner. Our only regret was we were not staying for another day or two. Home is beautifully restored. It’s almost too much to take in during a short visit. The more we looked around, the more amazed we were. Bed was very comfortable. Every detail was well thought out. Highly recommend a stay at the Bazsinsky House!

Amazing hosts!! We loved learning all about Vicksburg from them and the Civil War Museum downtown. The house is beautiful and we had the luck of experiencing a thunderstorm which caused amazing views over the Bayou at night. Breakfast was great, all and all incredible. Would visit again.

United StatesNot a thing!
We really enjoyed our stay and our entire experience at Vicksburg! I wish we had stayed another day, as there was so much to see there. Andrew was a wonderful host, and gave great suggestions on where to dine and must-see places in town. We were able to walk to the downtown areas, to dinner and lunch. The historic house was such a treat to stay in, and we loved learning the history of the original owners, and how it survived when Vicksburg was under siege. Our room and bath were so spacious, and the bed very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious breakfast with the other couple staying there, and visiting with Andrew. We highly recommend the Bazsinsky House for its charm, comfort and location. We loved it! Another suggestion about visiting Vicksburg: spend the money to hire one of the Military Park's tour guides who will ride with you through the park. We got lucky and had the 85 year old former mayor, who was a former school teacher and college dean, of Vicksburg, and it was such a treat! His perspective was so interesting and informative! I wish I had done more research on all that was to see in Vicksburg before going. Be sure to do your homework!

United StatesIt was on the second floor and we had to climb a flight of stairs. Normally no big deal but I need knee surgery so it hurt walking up and down. The host was nice enough to carry my bag. He didn't have to do that.
This place was exceptionally quiet. Like I have never been in a hotel room or even a room in my house that was absolutely quiet. It is by a street and you do not hear anything at all. The muffins were excellent. We ended up chat with the host for a couple hours after breakfast. Very enjoyable.
