I never saw anyone at the front desk. The bathroom (Patriot room) could use another towel rod or some hooks. Breakfast was very limited.

Very quaint property! I liked the historic look and feel and could envision the maids running up and down the winding staircase to get to and from their quarters. Great location, as well. Late check-in instructions were good.

I wish I could give it a better review, but I booked 3 rooms - 2 with 2 double beds and 1 with a king bed. When we checked in, we had 2 rooms with king beds and my grown sons had to sleep together. When I told the guy about this error, he told me i had booked a king, 2 doubles and one room with a full bed which I hadn’t. He told me he upgraded us to a king bed. I didn’t want to argue and presuming a 2 bed room wasn’t available anyway, I didn’t argue. I felt like we were being taken advantage of and we paid so so much for the rooms, it left a bad feeling in us about the place. Also the rug in our bathroom was wet when we arrived and the desk/bedside table was sticky all over - very dirty

We appreciated being allowed to check in 2 hours early and we were able to store our luggage after we checked out.

Parking was very limited. I paid for parking for two nights and was parked close to the building. I asked the original lobby attendant what would happen if another car park behind me as each spot was 2 cars deep. He stated that they would have keys and be able to move the vehicle and assured me that I wouldn’t be blocked in. However,on the day of my departure, I was blocked in and there was no one in attendance in the lobby. I called the main line several times, the emergency line several times and left multiple messages. I finally was able to reach someone at their other location. It was only when the housekeepers arrived that they were able to help me out of the spot by doing multiple three-point turns to finally turn my car out of the spot. Without their help I wouldn’t have been able to leave. That whole process took over two hours. I was scheduled to go back to work in the afternoon but missed a half days work because of this snafu. No one from management ever called me to apologize or offer me some kind of discount for my inconvenience. That was very disappointing to say the least.

The room was clean and fairly comfortable however, there was no way to adjust the temperature

The lobby situation with the microwaves and breakfast area were visually unappealing just ramshackle like the owners had no pride in making things neat. And the musty annd stuffy odors the lobby areas and stairwells were off putting. Perhaps typical of these old brownstones with old interiors and carpets.

Rooms has a distinct Bostonian character. Nice decor and great clean beds.

I would have wanted the ability to check in late at night. I would have liked to have an additional key because my colleague and I were on different schedules.

Lovely character building and heritage neighborhood. Great access to transit: the T streetcar stop is right outside.

No juice for breakfast, blocked HDMI ports on TV, no staff to help in the afternoon (but front desk number to call is there), no control of the heat in the room

The instructions on parking were not completely clear. They did not say to leave your car keys at the desk. I was blocked in by another car when checking out and had to wait almost an hour before finding the owner to move their car.

*The breakfast was sadly lacking. 2 of the 4 days there was no milk for cereal or coffee; no staff available to remedy this. I would have appreciated some fruit. There was nowhere to sit to eat other than one's room. *The front courtyard area could be improved with little work. Spread some pea gravel or mulch on the bare ground; one day it rained and the area was too muddy to enjoy. The potted plants are a nice touch, but were displayed with no benefit to the potential of the space. *The tub in Room 2 needs to be updated. The directions for the t.v./cable need updating; there were no buttons on the remote that the directions stated.

Location was perfect for me. It was quiet at the Inn. The room was very spacious. The vintage photos and items add nicely to the ambiance.

The welcome pacakage (conating name/room number/and keyes were in an unsecured box outside the front door. I suppose there is alot of faith that the neighborhood is safe. Upon entering the main entrance and making our way to the room, found It was a bit odd to find the room door open. I stayed with my 17 yo son and felt like I needed to check closets and under the bed (which we should all do,anway), prior to settling in.

We checked in after 8:00 and were left a welcome package with all the information we needed. There was no frot desk staff on site, but I had called ahead a few hours earlier and had great customer service by phone. Answered all of my questions ahead of check-in. The rooms have been updated and nice to have a private bathroom. Great location, plenty of variety in terms of dining. It'a cross of Air B andB/hoteling....

The room was cold. The radiator did not seem to be generating any heat. Could have things like an extra towel in the bathroom, and a box of tissues. Maybe a few yogurts in the fridge.

Great location. Comfortable bed. Cool old house. Breatkfast pastries were nice. Post some info about the T in the lobby so people know how to pay for it and how to find info.

You should no longer advertise as a Bed and Breakfast. we paid $33 for parking and then were blocked in.the next morning. We had a long wait for someone to come and get the other patron's car keys and unblock us. The worst thing was our fault in the sense that we were very careless and left a valuable piece of hearing aid equipment as well as a pair of sneakers. But to say your staff was unhelpful would be quite the understatement. We did get some one to retrieve the hearing aid device but they never called back about what would happen next and no-one angered when we telephoned. Then the next day, I got hold of a much nicer person but she informed me of your policy of not mailing anything until you received a pre paid box - Thus adding considerable time to our obtaining the item. I got a granddaughter to go the Inn to get it but she was told that they had sent it to the other Inn's location. NO ONE TOLD US THAT. THIS MEANT ANOTHER UBER FOR MY GRANDAUGHTER AND MORE TIME AWAY FROM HER WORK.

I picked the Inn for its location and it was perfect for our needs
