Just a few minor things I think they should add. There wasn't a full length mirror in the room, that would have been nice but not a necessity. And there wasn't a latch lock on the door so we moved a chair and table in front of the door for extra security, lol. Not sure if we needed to but we felt safer.

This motel was super clean. We stayed in one of the new rooms and we were very impressed. The bed was comfortable and I like that there were 2 sinks, one in the bathroom and one right outside the bathroom, very convenient.

The large cut corporations take from family owned business.

The room is fabulous, parked in front of the room. Best of a small town, kind people. This is a family owned business. Call and make a reservation. These sites take a large cut of price.

Our room was very nice and very clean. There also was a nice patio next to our room.The owners are very friendly, and we enjoyed talking to them, finding out that Benton Hotel was part of a TV show. We can highly recommend the motel.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

They didn’t offer a breakfast, but coffee was available. The location was perfect, being close to the highway.

I honestly can say there was nothing that I didn't like! The motel service exceeded my expectations and it was a joy chatting with the owners!

Great Owners! These are the kind of folks to support for local business. The communication was great, the check in and check out was seamless. The rooms were immaculate; the vibe is low key; mixed with a retro and down to earth feel. Location is great to get to any place in the area!

I can’t complain since they went out of their way to accommodate my situation. Bookings should make it more apparent that the have a restricted pet policy.

I didn’t read part about contacting hotel about pets prior to arrival. They have dedicated pet rooms and all were taken. They however gave me a room that was of lesser quality but all I need was a place to sleep so I appreciate them not just sending me away. For the price, it was great! Their new rooms appeared to be very nice, but don’t allow pets. I’d stay there again during my travels.

Stayed in one of the brand new rooms…wow! They are so nice! Beautifully designed, very clean, very comfortable! The owners are such nice people! Very friendly and offered great recommendations. Accommodated my schedule with a late checkout even in a really busy weekend. Would definitely stay here next time I’m in town. Great room, easy parking, great people, great location!

Owners of this motel are so nice people with great hospitality! Our warm conversation in the everning was very enjoyble. Wish them continius success of their business. Room was clean. Actually, place was very quiet to sleep over. I would defenetly stay again in this motel.

We could only stay 2 nights!

We watched the reality show, "Crappie Lake," and one of our reasons to stay in Benton, IL. Watch it, and you will know what I am talking about. Our hosts, Akash and Hiral, owners, are so helpful and were part of the reality show. They are celebs in their own right. We had so much fun exploring Benton and all the places Luann and Sonja featured on "Crappie Lake." All, so much fun!

It’s not overly important but soaps/body wash could have been better.

The owner is the most hospitable person I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting-and I’ve met a lot of hotel staff in my years. The beds and pillows are top notch and the room/bathroom were extremely clean. This is an old refurbished motel and has kept the old charm while still being very comfortable

The bathroom was very cold. To be fair, the night I stayed, the temp was in the single digits and the bathroom floors were tiled and no heater in the bathroom to warm the tiles.

The motel was very easy to find and the room was VERY clean and comfortable with a mini frig and microwave and large tv. The owner, Akash, was very personable. He got ahold of me after I checked out to let me know I had left something behind in the room and was able to retrieve the item before I left town.

The owners of the establishment are very cordial and kind. They helped me with several other questions and even booked a driver for a long distance trip. I recommend staying at the Benton Motel. Very well located within the city, close to banks, restaurants and other facilities.
