Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe were happy with all that we encountered at the hotel.
We had a fine breakfast and enjoyed being in the diningroom and trying to imagine how it must have been in the 1800's. Our server was attentive and saw to our needs. We enjoyed the period furniture in the room and care has been taken to preserve the hotel.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom needs to be updated with higher counters and commode. Also the soap dish was chipped. A grab bar to use getting into and out of the tub should be added for additional safety.
We liked the charming nature of the hotel. The shower was terrific - great water pressure and temperature. The long grab bar in the shower made me feel safe and the tub surface was not slippery.

United States of AmericaThe bar staff was horrible. I respect local regulations, but when I walk into a bar the next night and see the the exact same thing I was rejected entership, because, "she is the bar managers girlfriend " I was in shock. I requested Vic's (the GM) clarification and it resulted in them fixing the girl friend by taking her drink and compted with a mived drink!
The room was absolutely perfect, the front desk was extremely accommodating, the food was phenomenal, both breakfast and dinner. There was no lunch option but we could shop locally and bring it in. The other patrons were friendly and made us feel like family.

United States of AmericaSaturday night the restaurant was booked for a party but we could've ate in the on-site bar, if we hurried since they were closing soon. So, we ate at a small place across the street. No time to sit and enjoy a brew in the hotel bar but BYOB on the veranda was nice. Sunday the restaurant and bar were closed. So once again, no sitting and relaxing except for BYOB. The restaurant may have been open in the early morning for breakfast but @ 9:30 a.m. there was nothing. The packets of creamer given for the in room coffee need to be culled. Most of ours were caked up chalk and useless. As I said, we had a large comfortable clean room. But the views out our corner windows--one was of the alleyway, a thirty foot extension ladder propped against our side right in front of the window and other rooms fifteen feet away. The other window looked out on the mezzanine full of a/c units. So naturally, our room blinds stayed shut all weekend. The restaurant had a nice elegant ambience but the coffee cups were hard to manage. Not made for medium to large hands for sure. Not the hotels fault but just be warned that downtown Americus has very little happening. We arrived around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and everything was closed and remained closed until late Monday morning (Sunday was a ghost town). By then it was time for us to move on. We wanted to buy another couple of bottles of wine for family back home but unfortunately couldn't wait for the wine room to open at 11:00.
Monday morning breakfast was served in the Rosemary and Thyme restaurant. Several selections of breakfast items on the menu. Prices were within reason and the food was very good and large portions. Waitress super friendly. Apparently the rooms are hit or miss as to size you'll get no matter what bed size booked. We had a queen and a fairly large room, lots of space. The room next to us was a queen and the door practically touched the bed. (we saw many rooms like this as housekeeping was doing their thing.) Room was very clean and bed quite comfortable. Housekeeping very accommodating and helpful. (I needed more coffee) Wine tasting room was a hit. The lobby was a nice place to sit and relax.

United States of AmericaThis hotel is rich in history! From the decor original floors and the old telephone in the lobby. Beautiful. The rooms are spacious granted there are some cracks in places but it adds to the rich history. We loved it and will stay again! Staff very friendly, bar drinks great, the balcony awesome.
