Great location. So close to a really nice 'pedestrian only' area/mall with good restaurants and a really nice atmosphere. Hotel itself was clean and safe, with a well-lit parking area. Great value for the cost.

The property was run down and had vagrants roaming around it, as there’s a homeless shelter across the street. But they didn’t bother me. I could hear people yelling at each other in other rooms in the middle of the night. Disappointingly, I paid $110 a night on Booking.com. I didn’t want to pay $250 a night down the street at the Doubletree. I was upset to discover that if I had booked directly with the hotel the cost would have been $63 a night. I paid a lot more by using Booking.com.

Location was perfect for my trip. I was a grand marshal for the 100th anniversary of their Vigilante Day Parade. The parade start was almost directly across the street.

Note that Helena's homeless community are resident in the neighborhood which might seem concerning at first glance. But it is actually reassuring to have locals with an eye on the area, which is a deterrent to mischief.

The motel is a couple of blocks from the retail and eatery area - but an easy walk. Parking right outside the room is nice. It was relatively quiet and I slept well.

Air conditioner/heater was very loud and would turn off for about 10 seconds then start up again. Made it difficult to stay asleep. While there was ample hot water when I showered in the morning it was not possible to get very hot water at the bathroom sink even after having a hot shower.

It was away from the main highway so sleep was not disturbed by truckers

The neighborhood is a bit loud and run down.

Years ago Budget was a real dump, but current management has really improved the place. This trip my room was comfortable and clean; the mattress and towels were clean, new, and good quality; staff was very attentive and friendly. Yes, the building is old and the accommodations are no-frills, but my stay was comfortable and pleasant and I will definitely return.

There’s a neighbor who plays loud music - I didn’t mind the volume, but didn’t like the music. Oh, and the shower temp was unpredictably highly variable.

Staff was great, room was clean - not new, but clean - and bed was comfy. That was all I needed, I didn’t visit Helena for the hotel services.

The washroom doesn’t have exhaust fan. The window won’t lock. Once you open the door, smells smoke. There are homeless people walking around too.

The area/location, at first, seemed sketchy but turns-out it's a safe area.

No breakfast offered. Clean room and bathroom. Small room with a comfortable bed, mini fridge (that works) and a TV. It's an Old motel but the bed/mattress was not old. Nice staff. Quiet surroundings.

Smell of pot was lingering. And my TV had this on again off again stuff. There's not much to say I only stayed one night and it wasn't too bad you advertised a hot tub but there was no mention of it during check in I would have gladly used that
