I slept poorly at this dated and shabby motel, thanks to the low-grade furniture and much noise from adjacent rooms and the street. Various facilities that are advertised, such as a hot tub, do not exist. People loitering in the parking lot left security in doubt. I would not stay here again.

It is truly a “Budget Express”, so do not expect fancy decor or fresh, clean smell. My room was made up, but definitely not completely cleaned (someone’s discarded shorts were left behind the bathroom door, a discarded cup was next to the bed side table on the floor, the table lamp was inoperable). I asked the front desk to have maid service for my room as I left for daily activities, and I was assured it would be done, albeit later in the day as there were many occupants (full/sold out capacity). Alas, when I returned to my room late afternoon, it had not been done. I did not ask again, and just dealt with it.

Location makes it easy to access the downtown area and local shops. If you’re staying in summer/early fall, you are blocks away from a lovely local Farmers Market, as well as the Civic Center for performances.

Room needed work. Picked this hotel based on the rating versus others in the area. Ratings were not correct. (In my opinion)

Hole in ceiling. Sketchy people outside. Has a desk but no chair. The furniture in the room was massive and clunky, felt claustrophobic.

Not the fault of the staff, but the place feels a bit unsafe. There were a number of people loitering around the parking lot late at night as we were unpacking. Wouldn't be a problem for a burly biker checking in, not so comfortable for an older couple.

The facilities are not bad, for the price it was about as expected. The fridge and microwave worked fine, the shower was clean, the bed was a good size, with plenty of room to move around it.

The AC was barely adequate to cool the room, the TV/ cable was defective (picture would freeze with the cable box constantly resetting itself, impossible to watch any TV, the remote was also defective, would not operate the volume.) Also there is a small park adjacent to the hotel filled with vagrants openly using drugs. I witnessed a number of people passed out on the sidewalks, a bit unnerving, to say the least.

This is a budget hotel, you get what you pay for, but it was perfect.

It was well equipped, clean and quiet. Glacier entrances are just 20 minutes driving. The host is pretty generous too, we love our time in there. Also the duck lake is very close, nice location for fishing too.

Awesome pillows and perfect location. We stay here every time we come to Helena. Fantastic staff who knocked on our door during the day just to check if we needed anything. Didn't make me feel guilty about asking for things I wanted, like other places do.

There were other guest that were being very loud and rude my whole stay. 4 am I was awoken by the many guest getting ready to go to work. During the evening I could not rest because if the same guest and staff did nothing to stop them. I also rented this place because they were animal friendly yet they would call animal control if you were to leave your pet besides going to your vehicle.

VERY offensive and needless lobby display on the LQBTQ blah blah blah activist movement. Was totally uncalled for in the lobby of a business. We will NOT stay there again. TV was horrible. Linens worn. shower was extremely poor. I actually wanted to turn around and leave but we had been driving all day and were tired.

the pictures look way different than the actual property. I wouldn’t want to stay here without my fiancé. honestly, it’s not a hotel it’s a motel and should be called that. it’s a trapped out there place the phone in the room doesn’t even work, the bathroom shower handles were falling off. very disturbing, not to mention the drug deals we saw occurring in the parking lot
