Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe bed was too soft for us. We both have back issues and prefer a firmer mattress.
The breakfasts were excellent. The room was great . The hosts were very friendly and were willing to let us put milk in their refrigerator. They were very accommodating.

United StatesWe loved everything about it.
Bullberry Inn was a highlight of our 2+ week trip to the American Southwest. Emily & Joe could not have been more welcoming and lovely. Emily greeted us and before we knew it we had chatted with her for 45 minutes! She could not have been more warm and friendly. She and my husband particularly connected as both enjoy playing the piano and composing songs. Before our stay was over, they each played a piece they had composed. Our room was comfortable, clean and cute with simple, rustic furnishings, which fit the environment. The breakfast each day of our stay was absolutely scrumptious. It was such a homey environment we enjoyed chatting with the other guests. Also the location was great for its access to Bryce Canyon, which was just magnificent. And there are some nice restaurants nearby for dinner.

SeychellesThat we couldn’t stay longer.
It is a large, family owned inn, just minutes from Bryce Canyon. Joe and Emily made us feel right at home, right away. Everything was comfortable. Everything was clean, in a homey way, not an antiseptic one. We loved being with their whole menagerie - cats, cows, chickens, horses, goats, a donkey, a pig. Breakfast was wonderful, including eggs from their free range chickens. The cozy dining room encourages guests to interact with each other.

United StatesIt is rustic, and to be honest this area is very rural, so we came in with this in mind. I would have liked to have an option to make a warm drink in my room.
Very nice family, who offered us information for Bryce and the area. They also have a farm, and offered to show us around, since we have kids who might be interested in petting the animals. Freshly cooked breakfast every morning, accommodated special requests. Really nice people.

United StatesIt would have been nice to have water in the room.
Breakfast was delicious, served with a smile and warm hospitality. Great variety too - favorites included yogurt parfait, German pancakes, homemade raspberry jam, and pecan waffles. It was also a wonderful place to stargaze at night. Hiking at Bryce Canyon was nearby.

United StatesLittle bit out of the way - but it is less than 5 minutes from the town that has restaurants and it is less than 15 minutes away from Bryce Canyon.
The hospitality was awesome - made you feel at home. Catered to our dietary needs. Quiet place- no loud noises, thumping. Wonderful breakfast and amenities. Extra blankets provided - because it gets cold at nights in March.

United StatesThe outdoor handrails of the stairs and stairs themselves could stand to be sanded down a bit, and there is a shared full sized fridge outside the rooms (tho' Emily is working on getting individual units).
What an amazing gem of a place Bullberry is! The rooms are well appointed, pristinely clean and look to have been refurbished, then maintained well. Our family suite had a king on one end (or huge queen?), 2 twins on the other and a full bath in between, with a lot of ample room to move around, dining table/chairs, sitting chairs and a huge dresser. Comfortable beds and pillows and care and thought put into all the details like extra charging ports. Breakfast was incredible and Emily is so attentive, courteous and super fast and service oriented. Portions are huge and she is willing to cook eggs, etc to order on top of whatever delicious main she's decided to make that day. She also has a plethora of knowledge if you have questions or need suggestions. We were a bit concerned that Tropic would be remote but they are 1/2 mile from other food options like pizza, etc. and the drive in (we arrived after dark) was not difficult at all (though watch for deer, elk, etc). We will definitely stay again on future trips and are so appreciative of them and their wonderful place!

United StatesAC was a bit noisy but we adapted. Maybe the mattress could have been a bit firmer for me. We didn't really get to talk to the other guests, but think that was just a timing thing and they were in the outer building.
The breakfast was really excellent! For me it was just the right amount and totally delicious. On the 2nd day my wife requested less food and they adjusted. I appreciated the coffee was ready right away. The owners were so nice and personable and we really enjoyed talking with them. Got some great advice on a state park, which we hadn't planned but really liked. Next time I would walk around the farm and check out the animals! Everything was nice and clean.

Fresh fruit, cooked waffles with bacon/ pancakes with sausage- delicious! Short drive to Bryce National Park- a sensational location. Would certainly recommend this bed and breakfast - so much more personal than big hotels. Great to hear about the family run farm and get tips about local things, as well as meeting other travellers from different states and countries.
