How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Location. When I booked I thought the hotel was much closer to the cruise port. I should have checked closer.
The staff was wonderful. Especially the shuttle driver James. He went above and beyond for us. There are no restaurants near the hotel so he drove us to a very nice restaurant and then picked us up.

There is no restaurant in the hotel. Buffet hot breakfast was as expected. There are no restaurants around the hotel. They do recommend a fast food service from nearby
Convenience of hotel shuttle from/to airport to hotel. They also offer a free shuttle service to large Westfields shopping centre at different times of the day. Close to train station to get to downtown Seattle. Staff service was excellent

Only problem was 4:00am wake up call … by mistake. Woke me up, of course, but also the kids… not ok. Hotel was fine in every other respect.

Fixed shower head. No premium TV channels. No restaurant on premises.
Breakfast was good. Would have liked bacon. Hotel and room were old but well maintained and had been rennovated. Rooms were very spacious. Hotel airport shuttle on time. Fixed shower head, not movable.

Very dated. No handle in shower. What's wrong with not having half and half creamer in room? Too expensive for what you got.

Breakfast was great. Nice and close to the airport. Room was a little small for our family to stay long term but it worked perfectly for our late arrival.

Not many options to eat around the facility. Taxi driver told us not to go out at night, so we walked to the IHOP and had an early dinner instead.
Room and bed were very comfortable and they accommodated our early arrival request. Shuttle was on time and driver was helpful. Decent breakfast eating area.

Staff are courteous and friendly except for 1 very rude male front desk personnel. 1 bad apple hopefully doesn't spoil the whole bunch good. No housekeeping if you stay more than a day. Need to walk all the way to reception to get a change of towel. Luckily courteous staff have it sent to us after a long and tiring day.
Convenient and good shuttle service to airport, restaurant nearby and Light Rail Transit station (Angle Lake)

Nothing that I did not like.
The staff was excellent. They were welcoming, proactive, and helpful. My flight was delayed by a day, and so I could stay at the property for only one day. The property managed at that instance promptly updated my booking to just one day and initiated the reimbursement of the amount. The staff in the morning of April 20 was very good. I was checking out, was super exhausted due to my late night arrival (a long and awful transatlantic flight). The staff played a small prank, and made me laugh, a great thing to start the day with. Lovely experience. The shuttle service to and from the airport is very useful. I arrived around 01:00 AM at the airport, and the shuttle was there in a few minutes. The return to the airport was also immediately arranged by the staff. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable. If you are looking to go the city, take the light rail at Angel Lake station, which is just a 10-min walk from the hotel. The breakfast was just OK. I am accustomed to European breakfasts, so from that perspective, it can be definitely better.

Convenient, economically priced hotel with a free airport shuttle, fridge and coffee in the rooms, and a giant king bed for weary travellers. What more do you need from an airport stay? Staff got us checked in and out quickly and pointed us to a good takeout option nearby for food, as the hotel's own restaurant didn't reopen after closing during the pandemic. Decent breakfast included in the price and even though the hot food isn't served until 6:30 am, they have "grab and go" options and coffee available from 3 am on.
