Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesOutside my room in the hallway, it smelled like weed. The fitness center did not have enough of a variety of free weights, and despite the amenities stating there was to be a hairdryer in the room, there was not. Had I known there wouldn't have been one, I'd have packed one.

United StatesDidn’t like that was basically no service, if we needed a roll of toilet paper you had to go to the front desk and get it. if you wanted clean towels you had to take the dirty ones to the front desk and exchange them. Bottom line there was no service.

United StatesI had reserved a room for my family of 4 with disability access. Upon arrival at 5 pm I was told they could not give me a room with disability access and proceeded to ask if I would be okay with a room having one bed. I told them no I need two beds because four people could not sleep in one bed. I then asked if there would be a reduction in rate since I had prepaid for a room having disability access. I was told they could not reduce the rate that I would have to contact Booking.com. They later said they would contact Booking.com and let me know if they could reduce my rate. We stayed two nights and upon checkout asked again. They still did not give me an answer and said someone would call me. I still have not received a phone which I knew I would not. Also upon arrival the clerk charged my credit card $50 for incidentals which I understand is common. Not a problem. However it would have been nice for the clerk to have told me this information. I only found out by looking at my bank account. Beyond that my husband was quite aggravated that when he went to get coffee he was told they did not have any coffee cups. Needless to say, it would be nice to get the type room you reserve and employees that communicate well. Not to mention, go buy some coffee cups.
The room was spacious and clean. The hotel us in a good location near shopping, restaurants and the airport.
