We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesOur jets wernt working in the tub, the staff offered to move us rooms but I had already bathed so we just stayed. They said if I wouldn't have booked and paid w a 3rd party they would have gave us a discount. It was a little disappointing but every thing else was great. Also great price!!

AustraliaLack of food options on site, it wasn't made clear that the courtesy bus could take you to local restaurants. I booked through booking.com who said I would be picked up from Dallas Love Field by their curtesy bus, which they do not do, so an expensive taxi ride later, I arrived at the hotel. I would not use booking.com again.
Bed and pillows were super comfy, breakfast was average. I didn't realise that there wasn't a restaurant when I booked this hotel and as I was travelling for work, I really would have been better off with easy food options. The venue was quiet for working, a few more facilities would have made it a little easier.

It would’ve been nice if there had been a net available we wouldn’t have minded scooping it out instead of having to do it by hand so the kids could enjoy it. Elevator also made a horrible noise when it reached the top floor which scared our youngest kid.

United StatesThe poor desk clerk had a computer issue with the first guest, causing a line of people waiting for at least 30 mins to get checked in at 10:30 pm. The clerk apologized but there didn’t appear to be anyone available, even by phone to assist. Also, earlier in the day, I called three times to verify that the shuttle could pick us up and no one answered the phone.
