How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The mattresses in our room needed to be replaced. They were not very supportive and the springs could be felt through the mattress cover. Not very comfortable. The pillows were flat. The chair cover was badly stained. The towels were very thin.
It was clean and the staff was courteous and helpful

Seemed to be a bit outdated and the elevator was very slow. One elevator appeared to be non-functional as it never came always just the other one. Toilet seat was damaged and then broke completely the next morning.
Nice location, felt safe, near downtown.

Room has some curtains broken, they should change them,
Breakfast can improved, there were basic thing. I did not like is that I made my reservation thru priceline and they change it and charge little bit more that the reaervation

I didn’t like that it wasn’t a bathtub/shower. And the door was hard to lock I had to push the door in to even lock it. And the neighbors were very noisy.
The heat/cooling system in the room worked very well. I liked the provided extra blankets and pillows. And the shower was nice and big.

I liked the room location and bed was comfortable. However, I was displeased with the breakfast. I wanted to enjoy my breakfast upstairs; however, one of the staff members who worked there told me we weren't allowed to bring the food upstairs (she made sure I SAW that sign). I think that was ridiculous, and I don't understand the reasoning behind it. We are not allowed to bring breakfast upstairs, yet a customer is allowed to have Door Dash come bring food to us and have it in our room. Doesn't make sense to me! I'll definitely come back again, but just refuse to eat their breakfast, as long as that ridiculous rule is enforced of not bringing it to our room :( Also, next time an elevator isn't working to its par, there needs to be a sign posted as a warning (it's scary when you feel like you're going to get smashed by a slow-moving door that doesn't open all the way and then closes..Lol.
The cost was great and bed was comfortable. Also, the front staff was friendly.

Lift out of order. I’m disabled and we were on the second floor. No gluten free food at breakfast. Property dated.

Room 908 had zero water pressure and shower curtain wouldn’t close which was very frustrating!!!
A great stay and pleasant night shift girl. They overbooked so we were upgraded to a suite with living area. BONUS 2 nice big Samsung tvs in our room.

No meat on the breakfast, and only sweet cereals to choose from. As a diabetic, I was grateful for eggs and peanut butter.
The front desk lady was very nice and responded quickly to questions and concerns. Our room was clean, and the price was great.

Neighbors was slamming doors tell 1 am .talking out in the hall tell 1 am. People above on floor 7 stomped around tell after 1 . Blanket was torn. But that was not a deal breaker. Food was good but bland. Only biscuit and gravy and eggs as the main breakfast and cereal and milk..no meat .juice was good . No curtains to pull so it could block out the eaely morning sun .also the breakfast area was soooo cold. Due to the frigid Temps. Couldn't take food to the rooms was a bad idea. Was soooo cold in there. I would stay again. It was confy

The common areas and the elevator were not very clean
The room were nice although cold when we arrived. They heated up quickly after we turned on the heating. The bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast was good, not a lot of options but enough to have a couple of choices.
