How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room smells strange, perhaps humidity. The elevator was so long. We have to wait for it.
The pool was great. People who are working here are nice.

My desk was too high to work on while I was using my computer.
The hotel was within walking distance of my parents, which made it very convient. I also liked the view of the lake from my room, the proximity of restaurants, etc. I appreciated how quiet it was during my 5 night stay. I am not a breakfast eater, so that doesn't really apply. Upon check in and during my stay the staff was friendly and informative.

The staff were incredibly helpful (even returning an item I had ordered to the store for me after I had left!) The location is good with a lot of local shops nearby (supermarket, sports goods, clothes etc) . The local running shop - and running club, Go Miami, was a real joy also, just 5' away! The room was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast area was very busy and congested unless you went early.
The location was convenient and easy to find. We enjoyed time by the pool after a hot day out exploring.

too tight space. Shampoo won't come out from a very tiny bottle. Conditioner the same. Didn't need lotion. Lotion is the same tiny size and luckily we didn't need. We had to evacuate our house for two nights due to termite tenting. We chose this place because it's in the shopping center. We can look around and won't be bored, we thought.

The A/C in the room only went to 66 and kept shutting on and off. Took a while for the room to even feel somewhat good. Only one elevator and its slow so the stairs are your best friend.
Very lowkey and nice hotel. Walking distance from restaurants. Staff is nice and welcoming. Breakfast was okay.

After our arrival in Miami we stayed one night in this hotel. Easily accessible by rental car. Friendly welcome, clean rooms and normal American breakfast. The hotel seems more suitable as a transit location. It is not near the center of Miami, but it is near the airport. There is a large shopping center nearby where you can buy everything (including a supermarket).

In this suite There is no outlets to charge phones in the bedroom, only outside by the living room, bathroom or kitchenette. They hold your security deposit for ever, they blame your bank but the fact is they wait for security deposit to expire and that can take up to 30 days after your stay, I tried to get them done manually but they keep saying is my bank’s fault but the problem is in their end and nobody is able to correct this issue. When I asked for proof of deposit release so I can show my bank they refused to provide it.
Location and the size of the room. Breakfast was good and staff very attentive.

Very noisy. AC was loud, people in the hallway were even louder. Shower in bath top is not for people over 6 ft.
Fast service fot both check in as check out. 2 comfortable queen size beds. Breakfast to get us started.

Breakfast, but by my best understanding quite common for hotel breakfast. Always something to eat, but nothing special. No fresh vegetables. Scrambled eggs not made of eggs, from powder probably.
Reasonable price, good location, not far from Miami Zoo, also good location for Everglades day trips. Nearby shopping center offers number of activities, eating out, shopping.

Beds could be comfier but aren’t horrible.
The hotel is clean and affordable. It is not new or fancy, but the staff is very nice and cleanliness is great! The breakfast is ok, they have the usual things like eggs, bagels, cereal, and juice & coffee. Rooms also have refrigerator and microwave. Definitely recommend, we stayed for 4 nights and our stay was comfortable, the beds aren’t the best but still pretty decent for a good night’s rest. The area is very quiet and close to a shopping mall too!
