Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I showed them the booking.com confirmation, so they changed the breakfast to included. I always look for hotels with breakfast included.

United Statesconfusion of clerk with reservation...under the first name instead of the last name and told I didn't have s reservation! Then when I showed him my reservation which was printed out he insisted I had no reservation and that he could give me a room at a higher rate even though moments before he said there were no rooms available! Then he called the manager- Josh, when I said I would pay the rate quoted by booking.com, not the higher rate... so he chatted with him and said it would be then higher rate! I said give me the phone and I talked to Josh and I explained the problem ...Josh said he would call the overseer of the Marriott Courtland of Beachwood and he would get back to me in a couple of minutes. So, I went up to the room I had been in Friday night to get my things because if I was going to have to be moved to another room, my husband was going to have to get up and we would have to pack and move our things ---perhaps to another room with a check-in later in the day ! Well, when I got all packed up and brought my luggage downstairs, the clerk said even though he couldn't find my reservation, apparently, the higher-up told Josh to have the desk clerk find me two rooms that could be used and for the price, I was given when I made the reservation...so, everything worked out. Later in the afternoon, when I got back from some errands, the clerk told me he did find my reservation and it had been put under my husband's first name, not our last name! He then canceled that and allowed me and my relatives to stay in the other rooms. He apologized for the error, but it was so unnecessary!

United StatesUnfortunately there was no breakfast available due to COVID, also the pool was closed I want to believe for COVID precautions as well. i would like to see USB ports on the power outlets that will bring a plus to the room.
The rooms are really comfortable, really quiet area, the building looks pretty good and clean.

Terrible? Poor selection and it had to be paid for. The hours were to short, if you were not up by 8 you had no breakfast choice.
