The room was freezing when we got there, so we turned on the heat and left the room to warm up. It was fairly clean but it had cobwebs, dust in the corner, between the bed and the wall, understand they need to clean better. Had a dog friendly room and my dog found stuff/food under the bed. Very poor vacuuming job in the dog room. But the bathroom was clean. The beds were clean with clean sheets. For breakfast, it was a Monday morning, most of the food was gone. The milk had to be removed due to be spoiled, be beyond date used. Staff removed milk and then removed all dryer cereal. Didn't understand that because of babies coming in, they could have dry cereal. The juice machine was broken, no juice, no fruit. There was 6 yogurts left at 8:30am. There was waffles and cheese egg omelet only. No bread or pastry or even a toaster. There was a microwave in the room. I told staff about the spoiled milk, she looked for any more. Said she was sorry but the truck with supplies be there that afternoon. I felt there was 2 mini markets with in a mile of the place, staff could of replaced the basic food supply for the Monday morning customers. Felt that the weekend people ate up all the food so by Monday morning, hardly any food was left. Very poor management and food ordering. I should know, have had this kind of job in the past, food management and ordering. It's not easy but needs to be done. Monday morning was a disaster for everyone in my party when they expected a breakfast. I had breakfast here before and it was not like this, somewhere, the ball got dropped. In my room, I wish there was a hand railing to help get up from a low toilet, and get in and out of the tub. It was not a handicapped accessible room but a hand railing would help a great deal with elderly people. Last of all, the hot tub was broken, not in use, the swimming pool was open, but limited hours.

It was dog friendly. The afternoon staff was so extremely helpful. He got a shower chair to help me shower due my inability to stand in the shower. It was very easy to get to, next to freeway.

Lack of choices for breakfast. The door on our room was difficult to close--definitely needed to work better. Your evening staff person was not very friendly or helpful when we asked questions, etc.

The bathroom was very outdated and not clean. Shower tub kept getting backed up and would not drain. There was people yelling in the hallways and swearing at each other. There was other guests smoking out front where you walk in "taunting" the new guests. I would not recommend this place and will be staying at a different hotel when in Hinkley again.

Breakfast was a little weak. No juice machine working, only thing available was coffee and milk. Very few options for breakfast selection. Hot tub/spa was not working. Only 1 family allowed in swimming pool area per hour. You have to reserve the pool area if you want to use the pool. Website says check in is at 3. We arrived a little early 2:30. And they tell us check in is at 4 and we have to pay more to check in early at 2:30.

Staff was exceptional. They did very well trying to manage this place and make our stay as good as possible with the limited resources they have. For a Days Inn franchise hotel you would think the corporation would try to make all hotels as good as the next one they have their name on.

We got to our room and our room door was wide open. The floors were dirty, the shower was disgusting. Blankets were uncomfortable. We went to use the pool in the morning- the whole reason we went to this hotel instead of the other one in town- and were told it was closed. This was not listed anywhere on their website or Booking.com. This was the most ridiculous stay of my life. Never would book here again.

Outside ,room was in back,parking lot full of holes,sidewalk ramp(handicap accessible)had huge crack with big enough gap to trip me,was able to avert my friend with walker to go around(a carpet runner had been placed over it which made it worse as I didn't see it until I tripped)Room door stuck had to use my shoulder to open, bathroom mostly clean,but dirty @tub base.

Beds very comfortable as pillows.room clean,had refrigerator and microwave.coffee maker but only 2 coffee packs (individual serving size) not enough for a room with 2queen beds
