The proximity to the beach makes this an excellent choice. The box of leftover beach toys to use and share is incredibly helpful. Upstairs sitting area on the landing is helpful for visiting with others so you don’t have to sit inside.

There were 2 annoying flys in our room. We were able to get one of them. The other will be there for the next guests. When the people above us took a shower at 6:30 each morning the loud sound of water running woke us up each day. The piping went up the inside of our outside wall.

The staff was wonderful, there was a dedicated parking spot, location to the beach was excellent, a very short walk. Bed was comfortable. Shower was hot. AC worked House keeping did a nice job daily replacing towels each day and making the bed.

Great location to center of town but far enough away so it was quiet. The biggest issue is the trains that run through the old orchard beach area. The tracks run close to the beach area so unfortunately when they get close to road crossing they must blow the horn’s at each road crossing. You just need to be aware some hotels are closer to these areas. This one is a several blocks from the closest crossing but you still hear them at various times. You won’t get much closer to the beachfront just be aware you’ll hear trains horns as early as 5:30 am or at mid night.if it wasn’t for the train this would be nine out of ten.

Two cold rainy days.

Cleanliness of room. Beach view. I was really afraid that we would arrive and the motel would not look like the pictures. I was worried that since it was older, the rooms would be worn out and not so clean. It was wonderful to discover that the motel is exactly as it is portrayed online. I was very happy.

Staff was very Friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. Kitchenette was fully stocked with all the dishes and pans needed. Would definitely recommend to other people . I can see us coming back to this location .only 150feet from the beach. There is 2 outside grills for your use. Very nice looking pool as well.

This is not a dislike just a little bit of an inconvenience, rooms #9 and up the parking is across the street. It's not a big deal as it's behind the owners home on their property so it's just fine and safe. The room, location and price made up for it. The only other thing I would say is that the shower and bathroom sink were small, but once you figure out how to maneuver it's just fine.

We decided to go to Maine at last minute for the Memorial Day weekend. We sure found a gem in the Echo Motel! It's extremely clean, plenty of room in the room, it's like a little condo or timeshare type room. It was our home away from home. A very nice heated pool, with plenty of seating. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Less than 150 feet from the beach and just minutes from shopping and the Amusement Park. You can sit just outside your door in provided chairs. Or there are other tables and chairs to sit at should you choose. There is a microwave, fridge with a freezer, a 2 burner table top stove, sink, cabinets, loose ground coffee pot and dishes provided. We will 100% return time and time again!! Thank you so much!!

Parking was a little tough with a truck but not bad enough to stop us from visiting again.

Loved the location to the beach. The new owners were very nice and accommodating. Always able to contact if any problems. They did a great job with the upgrades to the hotel. The pool and rooms were clean. The cleaning staff was friendly. All the other guests were nice and not rude. Would recommend to anyone to stay there. If we could give higher marks we would.

The ocean this year had more seaweed than ive seen before.

The owners and staff are fantastic and you are just steps from the beach. A great family destination. All the guests got along nicely. The pool is great for a warm up after the ocean.

The owners, Julie and Sam were very personable and made us feel comfortable and relaxed during our stay. Also the staff were very nice and efficient! The place was very clean and the swimming pool was heated! Also the beach was about 100ft from our room, wich was amazing!

If I have to say anything I didn't like I have to dig for an answer. I guess I would say that there is no oven. I totally expected that though.

I loved how close to the beach it was. We had a place to use the bathroom and come home to cook lunch. The pool after a long day at the beach was one of my favorite things to do as well. The room was very clean and had everything that we needed. Walking to the pier at night was only 5 mins.
