Few maintenance items in our room. Tub did not drain, toilet leak, sink leak and ants on counter.

Great facilities, breakfast great, room perfect for working.

Some of the pillows in our room were extremely lumpy and there was some staining on the wall in the bedroom that seemed like it could have been from water damage? There were also some indications that our room needed a good deep clean as there were stains on the bedside and one of the nightstands had old food stuck to it?

Breakfast was great! The pool was a lovely bonus. The facilities are well kept and the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable.

Parking is terrible. There are a small number of spots in front of the hotel and if they are all full you have to walk around the block from the parking garage to the hotel.

We had come to go to a concert was supposed to meet others at 5:00 got it to hotel at 4:00 but couldn't get in our room because of housekeeping I figured 6 hours when you have to leave at 11:00 a.m. and you can't get in your room until 5:00 that's pretty bad

Our room was not ready at check in. This was the case for many as the (very large) lobby was full of people waiting for their rooms. The staff was not friendly or apologetic of the situation. One elevator was not working. Only 2 were working. Very slow. Had to wait a very long (10-15 minutes) time to get an elevator. No ability to take the stairs. The only exit from the stairs was to the outside. Breakfast was overflowing with people. The staff was not able to keep up. Many items were gone and it took a while to refill them. It is a large hotel. When full of guests, they were not equipped to adequately provide a quality stay.

    Location.

Our team parents like to stay at Embassy to utilize their large, open lobby on the main floor. This year we were not allowed to stay in the lobby past 11pm.

It wasn’t very clean. The bed was well-worn, we did not have a good nights rest. The breakfast was meh. No complimentary water. Our stay was 280 for one night before drinks, dinner, water, and parking.

The location is great, right downtown. The atrium/inner courtyard is beautiful.

The Embassy used to be worth the higher price but since the renovations it just isn't worth it. I've had more comfortable sleep in a $70 dollar a night hotel. Aside from the made to order omelets the breakfast is pretty on par with what you would get at any hotel that has a breakfast bar. Since most stores at the Charleston Town Center mall have closed it is not a selling point for the hotel anymore. The noise from the atrium at night makes it hard to get a good night's sleep.

It's nice that there are a variety of places to eat near by.

The beds were smaller than I thought they would be. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as I thought it would be. Breakfast was good but not a lot of options for dairy free. The parking was expensive.

The location was convenient. There was plenty of space in the room.

It's strange.. I stayed in this hotel a week ago and had an exceptionally wonderful stay, however, this time my room was not as nice. I stayed on the 6th floor last week on my drive down. The room was super clean and smelled great! However, I started in room 507 last night and it was not as nice as my 6th floor room! It was a little dusty, didn't smell really good, and the shower was set up very awkwardly. You have to get wet with cold water to turn the shower on! It's bc the layout of the room is weird. The shower door opens on the side opposite to the shower head, so you have to lean in to turn on the water!

Staff was great! Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. The omelettes are fantastic! Pillows were soft. Bed was comfortable.

It was very expensive and they charged me $50 for incidentals and I have not gotten that back, even tho the room was left in impeccable condition. That part should be added to the website because some people cannot afford 200 dollars for a room and then 50 more dollars just because they say so.
