The flimsy curtain rods should be replaced with something stronger. Ours broke the minute we touched it and the next morning saw housekeeping throwing out others from other rooms. We left our towels out to be changed in the morning and they were not replaced for us per the instruction sheet we received at check in. Our room was quite large and cavernous. Some art on the walls would have brought the room together and aid with sound proofing.

Spacious rooms, easy parking, and a stones throw from the beach. The rate we paid was very decent for the area and what we received! Based off other reviews the train was a lot quieter than I thought it would be. Convenience to the beach was a big factor to choosing the property but was surprised with how big our room was and the staff/owners that checked us in and out were very nice.

How close it was to things can walk. Staff is great and it's kept really clean. And we plan to book there whenever we go to OOB.

Loved the location and friendly prompt staff. Pool was nice and clean and pleasant. Our fridge was broken not working they brought us a new one within minutes of us telling them and them checking and making sure it was.

The pillows, they reminded me of hospital pillows and made it noisy for anyone rolling over at night.

Very clean, it was the first thing I noticed once I took my shoes off. A smooth floor with no gritty sand feeling! The first place in 4-5 years that provided a hair dryer (simple to some but it’s a small convenience that made a difference)

The beds were not super comfortable. Also the pillows were very flat and the plastic pillow protectors. We’re very loud at night if you moved around in the bed at all. The train behind hotel is loud as well. I liked that there was a microwave in the room however, it didn’t work that great so we had to put on extra time when using it.

Very clean, big room, friendly staff. Coffee pot in room is great ice machine is an a convenient location also like that, the office sells bags of ice for your coolers, as well as sodas and waters. Pool was also very clean and there were a lot of chairs for people to sit in around the pool.

Could improve the replenishing of supplies. (Coffee, soap, towels yes! we did have to go to the desk for these items and a few other things usually found in a motel room,) Check first before you settle in to avoid disruption of your stay.

Great value for a very "beachy" motel. Loved the location, pool was clean. Plenty of seating. The room was very clean, parking was right outside the door. The desk clerk was very helpful. Only a walk across the street to the beach and less than 5 minutes' walk to the center of the town.

When we got into the room, the underside toilet lid was dirty and lamp above tall dresser was very dusty. I spoke with the owner and she was very apologetic and would speak with staff. They pride themselves on cleanliness so I knew it would be addressed. It would have been nice to have cubboards to put food in. We were able to use the tv trays to play cards and games on.

The beds were very comfortable. The pool was great! The service was good and the owner dealt with an issue we had professionally. Walking distance to the pier and food. Across the street from the beach. The weather was PERFECT!

I found the chairs in the sitting room to be quite comfortable, but they could have been made better if they had reclined. Also had a hard time finding comfort on the pillows, especially where the cases were always pulled down by morning.

Was very impressed with the size of the room. Very spacious with a sitting room and separate bedroom. The view from the semi-private balcony was exceptional as well.
